I remember listening to that famous Japanese flight conversation (between the pilot, co-pilot and the control tower). That was freaking scary. Don't have a link though.

Yup. I coudln't fucking believe an emergency operator was listening to that as it was happening. I'm sure it will haunt that person for the rest of her life as it really shook me just listening to it a decade later. You can get a fraction of an idea what it was like right at that moment and holy fuck it's one of the most terrifying things ever.
 
Yeah, no, no more for me thanks. Too much scary/awful-to-hear stuff.

Yeah, I listened to this a while back and it's creepy as shit. Apparently the organ music in the back isn't something that was playing live, but old recordings that they recorded over, but it just increases the creepy factor exponentially. It's just mind-numbing to think of everything that was going on at Jonestown when this was recorded; Jones's men passing out the vats of Flavor-Aid, children crying in the background with parents willingly giving their kids the poison all while listening to Jones's megalomania...

The music makes it sound like a Silent Hill cut-scene. This is also chilling.

Yeah... I can't say it exactly makes me feel sad. It's not that it's not a sad event, it's just that the recording synced with that video paints a really messed up picture of what happened in your mind and it's honestly horrifying to think about.

E brake wouldnt do anything(may slow the car down 5mph) and the ignition is locked while the car is in drive in most cars. Though I couldnt see why you couldnt just shift the car into neutral(or even 1). Whats odd is the person driving was a 20 year highway patrol officer:/
 
Theres also one of a woman calling 9/11 and then being stabbed to death while on the phone. Its so fucked up Im not posting it but osme of you probably have heard of it.

Unfortunately, the guy panicked, and if you've ever been in a situation close to this, panic cuts off your ability to think clearly. We can all sit back and arm chair analyze but there's a high probability that a lot of us would have reacted somewhat similarly.

And while there's no recording of it (to my knowledge), when GAF was staying up listening to amateur repeater, and the crazy lady interrupted yelling "Bad bird!" over and over spliced with screaming... That was pretty creepy.

Also, a while back I heard an alleged 911 call of a woman who claimed she'd sighted a man outside her door or something. Then while on the phone with the operator she screams, and then there's silence, followed by her whining "Let me breathe. Please! Let me breathe." I don't know if it was real or not, but it scared the fuck out of me. I'm not even going to look for it, I found it so disturbing. If it was an act, I applaud them. They did a great job.

Such a horrible thing to happen to someone so young and so pretty, but reassuring looking at the blog comments and people moved by the loss..

Death would be too nice a punishment for Breivik.. I hope he's fucking tortured in prison.

Reading that just makes me angrier that he's been given the oxygen of publicity.
 
Ruth Price is an elderly woman who was murdered while making the 911 call.

I'm not sure if it was a hoax or not. I remember hearing about the tape many years ago.

The wikipedia page for the Jonestown Murders is fucking nightmare fuel. I had trouble sleeping last night and I didn't even listen to that recording...
 
The world is fucked up and this thread proves it.

edit: FUCK. That Max Headroom incident is the most unnerving thing I've seen in the past couple of years. I don't know what the fuck it is, but something about that video creeps me the FUCK OUT. I'm walking around my apartment now pacing, checking corners, looking over my shoulder, what the fuck? Why was that so disturbing to me?
