Help! I married a furry!

I never really thought about it before, not until I saw the recent "I love furries" topic. Hell I didn't even know that they were a nameable group. It got me thinking though, how she says she wants to watch the nature channel so she can see lions...well...do their thing. We just finished having a convo where she defended her fellow furries and tried to convince me that it was as normal to want to watch animals do it as it is to watch porn.

She just came out in the cat ears! Jesus, GAF help me!

He's making a reference to Furry fandom attracting some people who practice some form of animal totemism, which is not neccessarily a religious or spiritual thing. For many people, it's actually "just" philosphical.

However there's a stereotype that like, all furries have animal totems, especially after the absurd CSI scene of a Furry con spirituality panel where like a hundred people were in fursuits (animal themed costumes). Since that like, isn't actually that realistic or accurate.
 
My dad took me to the furry convention here in San Jose last year just cause, I was scared. There was this guy that looked like the offspring of Cleopatra and a fox that kept staring at me :( Every time I was poked with a tail I felt violated.

With more information, we'll only get more disgusted/freaked out.

It's admirable that you stick to your guns, but this is a 4-ton cannon that isn't moving.

:lol Too funny to be true. I dunno why, but sort of reminds me of that SNL skit with Chris Kattan as Azrael Abyss doing a goth public access show, "Goth Talk". Then his older brother Glen (Jim Breuer) comes in.

[car lights fall over Azrael and Circe, as the garage door opens and Glen's car pulls up]

Glen: What the hell is going on here? Todd! [Glen and Friend walk up] Get this crap the hell out of the garage, Todd!

Azrael Abyss: No!

Glen's Friend: Yeah, I gotta park my sweet Grand Cherokee.

Furries always like to bring up the argument that they are different, therefore there is nothing wrong with them. They also like to say we are all the same, and only they are different.

The thing is though...That guy doesn't just believe he's a dragon. He's believes he's a space dragon from the planet Terra, and then goes on to write a complictated mythology about all of it while decrying the "skeptics" who think he's nuts.

It instantly reminded me of the "alien abductor" line Art Bell used to do and the time he had on the "Six-Fingered Alien Antichrist". If this dragon guy ever did a four hour appearance on "Coast to Coast" (and he certainly has the material), he has the real chance of creating a classic of the caliber of the guy from the Philadelphia Project who was "age regressed" back to a baby by the government, the guy who rolled the alien up "like a burito" and put it in his fridge, and the whole Mel's Hole story.
 
I thought terra was just another name for earth.
