UGH... Whatever. Get your panties up in a bunch because of twitter and Zackhateraide.

Clearly you haven't seen 'The Raid'.

I've been hearing mad praise, but no I haven't seen it.

If it's like a kung-fu movie, with guns instead of fists, there's a good chance it will bore me. I need my pathos, I need to feel invested in what's happening onscreen no matter how dazzling things get. Otherwise I look at my watch a lot.

The story of the The Raid is shooting, slicing and punching (in that order) dirt poor criminals.

It was wonderful.

And Man of Steel.... I'd rather Snyder/WB go all out doing what he does and possibly fail than play it safe like Sony did with ASM.

The movie has sounded and looked like crap so I don't know why anybody should be surprised at some early negative reports as dubious as they are.

Sounded and looked like crap? We've had a few set photos and one officially released shot and it sounds and looks like crap?

Well, I don't think we can say it looks like crap.

But it has sounded like crap since the day Zack Snyder was announced as the director.

(IMO and all)

Sounds to me like people are gearing up to blame Snyder if the movie sucks and praise Nolan if the movie is good.

Truth, because Snyder should be the one to blame if it sucks and the one to praise if it is good. This is not Nolan's movie, and it never was.

Personally, the movie sucked for me the day they announced Zod. I hate Zod. So boring when you have villains like Brainiac lurking around.

He just said that he's gonna help him with whatever he needs after TDKR, in that very quote. That's what producers do.

What made you think he left?

People with a producers credit have a varying degree of involvement and responsibilities. This doesn't mean that nolan did anything other then help with the script. It also doesn't mean he hasn't had a lot of involvement with it either though. I fully agree that if the movie is good there will be a lot of snyder haters, who will praise nolan for it. Either way we are sure to get gross exaggerations for any amount of slow motion action snyder has in the movie, despite this being a great movie to use that technique. Definitely better then any of snyders previous works. Worse case we should get an awesome opening credits scene though.

From what I can tell, Goyer and the Nolans came up with the script, and Chris also chose Snyder for the director chair. He wouldn't have picked Snyder if he didn't feel the guy was up to the task. Unless Nolan is actually a devious mastermind villain who is mischievously sabotaging this film, I have full faith in Goyer, the Nolans, Snyder, Hans Zimmer, and the cast to bring us a breathtaking Superman film. So everybody calm the fuck down. They ALL got this.

Clearly you haven't seen 'The Raid'.

He said "good action", which Snyder is barely capable of.

The Raid is exceptional action.

Unfortunately the dry spells were exceptionally dry in between the flurry of ass kicking. Still worth seeing, but I don't know if it will change his mind and I doubt Zack Snyder would ever be capable of delivering something as well choreographed without constantly fucking with the film speed to sell the parts he thinks are cool.

I hope Superman bombs and Snyder gets demoted to doing movies for Lifetime network. Stop giving this fuck work! >:|

For some reason my insane TDKR hype is having a knock on effect and I'm slowly getting hyped for this as well.

I really can't believe they chose Snyder but then I remember that 300 and Watchmen weren't THAT bad (luckily I haven't seen Sucker Punch).

Are they going to be showing trailers for this at comic com?

Can anyone else imagine or picture an upset Chris Nolan? Is such a thing even possible? The guy is relaxed in pretty much all of the behind the scenes footage of his films.

I always figured him as kind of the director that will just give you the death stare and silent treatment, then we will all shit our pants

Not even the MTV Movie Awards could upset him

Shame the lady in front couldn't play Harley Quinn.

Why is Nolan leaving this project? He didn't do anything wrong.

Because he doesn't need the money. He's the director that Superman deserves, but not the director that Superman needs right now. He's a silent guardian, a protector of superhero films. The Christopher Nolan.

you didn't see that interview where this lady was interviewing him and asking him about the ending, it pissed him off and she got owned.

Shouldn't be called a trailer, more like a teaser, too short for a trailer.

Will be like a shot of him in space in the new suit and Williams score.

The end.
