That is most impressive. That's the longest streak of wins to loss ratio I've seen (that isn't at starter level) in quite some time. I look forward to the inevitable turn to the dark side and colorful names you will have for your teammates and Blizzard in a few posts/days.

Is it me, or do there seem to be a lot of people that only play Specialists? I've been in so many games where someone decides to pick a second specialist and they both push all game and ignore the objectives. It's getting kind of annoying. Especially on Infernal Shrines, there always seems to be that Gazlowe or Zagara that never goes for the shrines.

Eh, I haven't noticed it as much of late but it is certainly a stereotype that exists for a reason when you first start out with the game. People just hanging out in lanes split pushing, no map awareness, dying 8 or 9 times and then flaming you because "at least I got a fort noob".

I will say I've seen some success with people pushing the far/opposite lane on first shrine on Infernal Shrines after the change in skeletons required. The phase lasts so long that you can get a pretty good EXP lead and the first punisher won't even get the fort unless they commit everything to it...letting you still outsoak them in two other lanes.

EDIT: Literally looks like every HOTS pro and notable personality from NA is on Overwatch atm.

HOTS's issue is the retention issue. People like the game, but they lack a LOT of essential features right now to make actually playing the game not annoying.

Ah, the GAF hivemind. It reached a new level. HOTS will suffer because of Overwatch but Overwatch will fail because Blizzard casul/action-y/etc. Therefore both games fail and Hearthstone and WoW are like AMC's Walking Dead and Mad Men after Breaking Bad ended. That about right?

As for Kerrigan, I've settled into a blades + shield build as the only viable option for my playstyle. Having the ability to heal off Ravage I think makes me think I should use it more than I should.

If you take both ravage talents at the first two upgrades, you should generally always be ravaging if it's going to kill something. You get about a second or two of grace time after as well.

Trust me I try but a lot of people in the games I'm in don't use chat at all, don't really ping and generally like to do whatever the fuck they want.

Sadly this is going to happen quite often in a game where at the start of every match they prompt you to turn off allied chat like It's the way the game is meant to be played.

To people who have it off or you just happen to know, does this work both ways? Do they prompt you to turn it on?

Eh? You get an extra 50% to everything, hero and account level. Not sure I understand what you're saying.

Can't play Heroes of the Storm anymore because my connections in it specifically are consistently awful. Average connection per match started out as kind of mediocre in the closed Alpha, I chalked that up to the game being in Alpha and that they would roll out more server clusters as the game approached final release but then my average connection per match proceeded to get worse with each new phase, from closed beta, to open beta and then "released". They have been so conservative with developing their back-end infrastructure. Too conservative. I spend more time trying to resolve my connection issues with HotS than I do playing it.

Best thing I did in regards to this game was moving away from TWC on the East Coast. Went from 120-150ms minimum at primetime to 15-25ms most nights here on the West Coast.

I feel your pain though. I remember you having issues along with me, and Milly79 still has them if we end up on US8.

It's strange but in the past two weeks I've started having random bouts of terrible latency ONLY in HotS. I'd never seen that bad latency icon flashing in the top left of the screen until two weeks ago, but now I get to see it almost every night I play. And it doesn't start that way, my night of HotS will start playing just fine but then after a few games it's like Bnet just slows down. But it's not Bnet because I can play D3 and SC2 and any other online game just fine, and a speedtest confirms my ISP is working normally, but HotS develops issues for me. I haven't been able to figure out why yet though....

Could you explain that a bit more? I'm East Coast too, what do you mean "moving away from TWC"? What is US8? Is there a way to fix what I'm experiencing?

I'm doing noticeably better with Kerrigan, but it still took me all night to finish a win 3 games daily. Lately I've got tunnel vision, sticking to one character until I get on a winning streak, but if I'm having an off night with someone it only makes things worse. I think it's time to rotate some Zag / Uther / Johanna / Abby for a while until I get my groove back, maybe play more Tass and try Sonya again for the first time this year.

Interesting. Does the game automatically choose the lowest latency server? I'm gonna have to take a look at this tonight.

I don't have TWC, my ISP is called Windstream, and in my area (Farmville USA) we have third world country fast internet, it's even slow by DSL standards, lol. But it's good enough to play games online and stream Youtube at 1080p. It's just HotS giving me random latency issues.

Someone on Reddit pointed out that the Blizzcon pins could be hinting to some upcoming Hero releases. It's a long shot, but makes a little sense.

The pins for this Blizzcon are Thrall, Jaina, Alexstrasza, Deathwing, Raynor, Artanis, the Barbarian (male), Demon Hunter, Tracer, and Winston. The guy on Reddit pointed out Deathwing and Alexstrasza are weird choices given that Deathwing was killed off expansions ago in WoW, and Alexstrasza hasn't been important for a while either. So take it with a grain of salt, but it's interesting to consider them as possible heroes, esp given that there's old datamined info referring to Deathwing, like a soundfile of Brightwing's response to killing Deathwing.

Both Deathwing and Alex are cards in Hearthstone. Deathwing doesn't see much use but Alex is popular. Would be cool to see them in HoTs though.
