Well I'll tell em to give it a rent then, i havnt seen it. My mom only saw it in the theater. The Main Event said:Several people have their Blood Diamond copy in hand already and think that the PQ is nowhere as bad as mentioned in those reviews. Some find the transfer to be great actually.
Sure it might not be perfect, but if the transfer is consistent 90% of the time it's still a must buy if you're fan of the movie.
yea but im only buying the PS3 and the movies, they are paying for the actual home theater, im just putting it together for them. :loldjlotsofletters said:Lucky parents.![]()
I've placed Flags of Our Fathers and Letters on my zip list here. I'm awaiting those to be dispatched.I'm only now getting Deja Vu on BD.
Well thats why i said they look the same to me. I only looked a few of the comparisons, but the ones i looked it i just sat here flicking through both looking at different objects for some sort of change, then again im on a 15" laptop screen running at 1280x800 so i couldnt even get the full picture on my screen.Onix said:Actually they don't look exactly the same. For Flags, take note of the suit-coat fabric.
The AVC version does appear to resolve a bit more detail (most likely due to the higher bitrate).
For the Prestige, the VC-1 version looks a bit more detailed. The color is just slightly different ... so that could also play a factor.
I agree with that sentiment.Regardless, picking a single frame from a movie probably isn't the best way to compare codecs![]()
