Did I just see a unsimulated BJ on TV?
Was wondering that as well.

Nah, it was a prosthetic she was performing fellatio on. My only annoyance with that scene was how fake it looked. Killed the vibes for me regarding the brothel ambience. I was wondering why not just use a more realistic dildo or something close to the real thing if you are going to attempt a scene like that. I'm figuring they did something like that to test the waters potentially for HBO - they can then point to how fake it looked so they could tiptoe around any censorship/ratings issue.
Still, the prosthetic just looked way too plastic/fake and felt out of place. I do hope the season starts to pick up. It's OK overall, but it's not on the level of early Game of Thrones for me.
jesus christ, are there 18 eps this season or just 8? Get on with it!!
The whole "we women could figure this out amicably and equitably if it weren't for these damned bloodthirsty men" is getting old as well. There is CLEARLY no way out of this other than total capitulation of one side or the other, which neither Alicent nor Rhaenyra will do. Plus one strong strike to win it is likely MUCH better for lives saved than a slow war of attrition. These writers would do well to read a little military history to realize the trap they are writing, it's a sad tale across time.
Nice to see Milly again, she is adorable.
I think Alicent genuinely believed he changed his mind because she misinterpreted what he said. The blame falls on the Targs naming everyone and their dog Aegon.Trying to meet Alicent didnt make sense to me. She lied about the kings last words to take the thrown. Not really someone you can talk sense with.
From Rhaenerys perspective.I think Alicent genuinely believed he changed his mind because she misinterpreted what he said. The blame falls on the Targs naming everyone and their dog Aegon.
From Rhaenerys perspective.
Alicent may believe that, but Otto certainly doesnt even believe her. And if Otto doesnt believe his own daughter then really anyone on the outside would just assume the entire conversation was fabricated.
See, it's not just the dying words of Viserys that matters here. Even if he had died alone, Alicent and her heirs would have been pushed in front of Rhaenyra because Rhaenyra A. was a ho-bag with obviously 'Strong' sons, B. had then hitched herself to Daemon, a man REVILED by many evn if he had a legit claim to the throne himself, C. The Hand and his friends KNEW Alicent's kids were at risk of being murdered the second Rhaenyra sat the Iron Throne, D. Aegon II had already had son(s) and Aemond was promising as well, all legit heirs and dragon riders themselves with none of the baggage Rhaenyra came with. No matter how you look at it, Rhaenyra, largely due to her own choices, just wasn't fit to rule. From Rhaenerys perspective.
Alicent may believe that, but Otto certainly doesnt even believe her. And if Otto doesnt believe his own daughter then really anyone on the outside would just assume the entire conversation was fabricated.
Thats the implication, I thoughtI wonder if Rhaena's dragons she went off with will end up being Daenerys' dragon eggs.
Ah come one, it didn't even look real for 1 second.I know HBO has always prided itself on pushing the bar when it comes to nudity and sex scenes, but a fucking blowjob is too much. I thought Euphoria was bad with its dozens of penises and jerking off closeups but an actual blowjob is literally porn. Whats next? Where does HBO push the bar next? Anal creampies? An actual first person cumshot? honestly, whats even left at this point? rimjobs with oscar winning actresses tossing salad?
Whatever dude. this is so fucking stupid. This kind of childish fascination with violence and sex turned me off of The Boys and other Netflix trash. I literally dont watch anything but HBO shows anymore, but child beheadings while they gargle and actual fucking blowjobs might be it. time to move on from HBO.
I kinda agree, without going into the book, I could outline an 8 ep season with every ep ending in a massive character death. And that would just get us to the midpoint of the Dance, where I think this season will end anyway. So I don't know why they are being so coy with having action and narrative drive, it feels like they are doing this tease thing to remind us why we should care about some side characters, they are spending a LOT of time introducing new characters that could probably be brought in with far less fanfare, and they are forcing some direct character interaction, probably as a response to complaints from GoT that most of the characters never actually meet.Ah come one, it didn't even look real for 1 second.
What a dull episode. As in every episode so far, the ending was once again totally implausible and stupid. Writer strike must have hit the series harder than I expected, as they in theory had plenty of time to write the scripts. I have a bad feeling about this season.
I believe that was pinocchio getting the kiss of life.Did I just see a unsimulated BJ on TV?

It's quite a while, but in Game of Thrones they said "the ages have turned them to stone" or something. So the dragon eggs are clearly old. Not sure if they're the same or not.Are we not like 4 or 5 kings and like 150 years from the mad king and the Baratheon's taking over.
Shit like the Acolyte shouldn't be a standard for comparisons.A lot of people are surprisingly harsh on this season, especially after only two episodes. Honestly, when you see crap like Acolyte (and even the last episode, eh), HoD is of a completely different caliber.
There is a book answer for this (pretty definitive as F&B goes). I address it in post #68 of the full spoiler thread. It's quite a while, but in Game of Thrones they said "the ages have turned them to stone" or something. So the dragon eggs are clearly old. Not sure if they're the same or not.
That's why I didn't get the part. They needed both to be in the same shot.People going on about the fake willy but I can't believe the actor of Aemond just full on shown his.
It’s so the actor isnt actually sucking on a dude’s real cock. “Simulated” vs actually performing an explicit sexual act. That's why I didn't get the part. They needed both to be in the same shot.
Hmm, accusing? Or acknowledging? And what exactly is tipping her off? That he is black? He's bald, so no help there. And like 40 years old, so I guess it's just a vague resemblance.Kinda sucks that Rhanys last scene with Corlys was basically accusing him of cheating.
Yeah, just the logistics of setting the signal arrows, horn calls, feeding that thing, etc and Ser Hightower had no idea? But it was a good reveal for the audience.Nice episode, but predictable. There's no way nobody saw that giant dragon getting to his hiding spot.
So something happens this episode then yeah? I don't think E3 was the worst one. Episode 2 made me second guess myself if I was wasting time with this show.
Plus I don't think the love triangles or family squabbles they've set up are particularly compelling. They seem unwilling to make anyone an outright villain so everyone is cast in shades of grey. Dilutes the narrative value of their struggles IMHO, so raw action is necessary to up the thrill value. Particularly since they are refusing to give titillating sexuality (the infamous "Sexposition" from GoT)..People like dragons and burninating. That is what makes a good episode.
