Strong start with Ninja Gaiden Ragebound. Then fizzled out and ended with a wet fart.

Old man muppets were great throughout though.

Must have been their best show yet. Good job Geoff.
Probably a B+ or an A
Edit: After half a day of absorving the information, I'll bump it to A at an absolute minimum. Can't think of another show in the past decade that had so many bangers.

Only good thing was Witcher 4 and PC Rebirth but none of those were really that high. None of the 6 games I really wanted to see was shown so E.

I only vote about the part of the awards show i actually care about and take seriously, the announcements and trailers.

So a C for me. Some decent games, a lot i dont care about, and no Half Life 3.

It finally gave me a new Ninja Gaiden game to look forward to next year since NG3/RE… Which came out in 2012.

Solid A.

Great show. I think they figured out the balance. Kept the zoomshit and DLC type announcements to a minimum. Come on, new Ueda, new onimusha, new vf, new ninja gaiden, new Okami? Old-chads are eating good rn. Too bad Naughty Dog sucksz

The only 2 redeeming things about the show were Honkai Star Rail 3.0 trailer and Okami sequel. Barely an E for me.

Also ask yourselves, how does it feel to know that Silksong is not real?

Solid B. A few really good announcements, still a lot idgaf fluff but most importantly a game i like won goty so it was solid

It's a definite A if you love videogames and aren't a jaded, cynical cunt (good luck on GAF lol). Some *huge* surprises like Ueda's new game, Elden Ring "expansion", the return of both Onimusha and Okami, ND project reveal (yes, the protag is trash, get over it), Helldivers 2 surprise shadowdrop, The Witcher 4, what more do you want? Most importantly, Astrobot took it's well deserved GOTY, good times, PlayStation stay winning 🥳🥳🥳

A or S. This was a far better show than the last few years. I wish he hadn't pitched Okami as the show ender only to then show the ND game. Seems like a shitty thing to do to the developers, but yeah.

That aside, it was a good show.

High number of legit trailers. Even higher number of scam ads.

Literally better to still skip show. No reason to watch it. Good trailers sandwiched between a paid ad every other second. Zero meaningful music or presenter presence. The awards are a fucking joke.

Wait 3 hours and treat it like a mini E3 when its done.

The show was ass from what I saw, but the announcements were really great. Replace Geoff Keighly with Sydnee Goodman or a younger THOT and I might watch this shit ever again.

S tier because we got 2 megaton announcements from Capcom. You can't ask for more.

The Naughty Dog reveal should have been a show stealer but all it'll do is create controversy. GG Neil.

B, it felt like the best one in a long while. Definitely had some games I was hyped about. Just also had a bunch that I still didn't care about so that's why I selected B, lol. It's a high B though!
