I like it. It's convenient to just snap a quick pic or video and throw it in your story to whoever is interested.

I used it for awhile to chat with a girl or two and get those hot low res disappearing photos... But it's a pain in the ass to use and not worth the effort. For short quick silly videos I just use a wechat sight. For anything more relevant I'll take a real photo or video.

It's more like texting with pictures/videos instead of text, but you can put text on it. Also there're filters that you can use to make urself look goofy/cute/face swap.

And then there's your story, which you upload a picture/video to, and anyone that follows you will be able to see it for 24 hours.

And yet, that's the age of a coworker that is just obsessed with it. Literally uses it all day. It's so annoying. Anything interesting happening, and there he goes with the oversharing. Everyone has to know everything.

The girl I'm seeing uses it regularly. It's annoying when she sends video because there's no warning, so I usually miss the sound when I'm at work. But otherwise it's nice to see her face a few times a day, even if I don't get to keep the photos

Didn't get it at all until it was pretty popular around me. Now I completely understand why its used- I do want to share and laugh about silly, random things around me, but I don't want to clog up a Hangouts or iMessage stream (plus my Photos history) with all these things that are pretty pointless immediately after the conversation is over.

On a 95 streak with my girlfriend right now. Zero of which were racy. We keep it classy.

It's incredible, it gets dates faster than any other social service, I guess seeing and responding to each others daily lives offers such a higher level of familiarity. Compared to the 'perfect' uploads on Insta & FB.

To be honest, I'm a bit confused over the snapchat "etiquette" or whatever you call it. Am I expected to respond to everything? Nothing? Just the stuff that's directly snapped at me? Only if I feel like it?

I have friends who are heavy users, but I rarely snap myself and I can't help but feel that I'm committing some kind of cyber faux pas with this thing.

Well yeah, if you're friends took the time to pick you out of their friends list and send a snap to you directly instead of their public story, they want to know your response.

I use it a lot, especially on the weekends since that's when all the stuff happens that's worth snapping (pool parties, festivals, ragers etc). I don't see the point of people just snapping selfies or how theyre walking their dog down the street, but after a while you get a feel of who posts snaps that are worth watching and who doesn't. Maybe its also a geographical thing, but in Miami everyone uses it (I just turned 30)

There's no "search for people," so you need to have specific usernames. It will show your contacts searching, until you complete the username enough to where it doesn't match their names anymore. Then it will pop up with the person you're looking for.

I dont pay attention to other peoples Snaps. I dont care about peoples kids or animals. I just get bored at work and use the paint option and people love to follow me and seemed entertained. I babysit a machines 8 hours a day so I doodle..its just a way for me to share my doodle pad.
