The Game Cube wasn't doing particularly well at the time and there was a lot of money involved. Ballmer himself showed up at the negotiations to have a quiet word.

However Yamaushi didn't like the deal, which he saw as a loss on a level similar to World War Two. He said he ranted a bit about Japanese values and identity but it went no-where. So in the end he said in Japanese "suck my yellow balls Mr Ballmer".

The translator looked embarrassed and was clearly not translating the phrase exactly, although Ballmer did smile at a sentence that included the word 'yellow' in it.

Aside from the fact that my cock is indeed larger than your cock, being a Junior Member is akin to having the word "IDIOT" branded on your* forehead. It's a initiation phase that everyone needs to go through in order to be welcomed to Club Gaming-Age. Since you're* fresh meat, you* can't be trusted to post intellectual or creative replies, so the stigma exists. Once you evolve to Member status you've* proven yourself to be a resiliant and active contributor to the forums so you're far more trusted. Only by having a personal tag can you evolve into the "elite" status of the messageboard where you've been acknowledged by those in power, the moderators. I didn't make the rules nor did any singular party, it's just evolved to this state over years of this forum being alive.

Yes but by then people know you're an idiot and don't even bother with you, or if you've proven to be annoying enough, get the banstick a few times. Just because you're trusted to be more intelligent doesn't mean you will be, it still flows with the formula.

The whole stigma of the Junior Member status is because you're an unknown and therefor treated as an idiot beforehand. Some might even extend the reasoning and say that a majority of Junior Members are idiots and as a result aren't suprised when one of them do post something stupid.

At the end of the day, If you're a recently inducted Member and have continued to post stupid responses then you'll still naturally be treated as an idiot. Hence the introduction of 'insult tags' to the equation. That's another wonderful topic to discuss another day.
