Fuck, I assumed you could change the controls on the controls screen, but now that I'm trying to do it I'm not getting anywhere.

I'm looking through the game's files to try and find a way to remap the buttons however the game's rom and neogeo bios files are in there.
Hmmmm...
At any rate, playing with the controls like this is gonna drive me wonko @_@

Is there any way to contact them and ask about Steam keys? I'd much rather actually download something instead of playing it in a browser. Also, what soundtracks are included? Have they ever given out Steam keys for non-Steam games in the past?

You can download them when you buy them, doesn't have to be in browser.

Twitter probably the best avenue to contact them. I imagine they're getting asked the question a lot anyway.

The soundtracks on tap are the four pictured; AOF2, FFS, SS2, and Metal Slug 3.

Log in to your Humble account.

Click your email / username at the top, and then Library or Purchases (doesn't really matter which)

If you clicked Library, you'll get a list of games on the left (all the ones in your account, not just the Neo Geo bundle), and there will be a download link for each one as you click it.

If you clicked Purchases, you'll see a chronological list of Bundles you've bought. Click the Neo Geo one to be taken to the Neo Geo Bundle page, where you can play or download any of the games in the bundle.

I love The Last Blade series. It's still one of the most beautiful games ever created (2). Shame the 2nd one isn't included here.

Just tested it with Mark of the Wolves, you can just go to the installation folder, move garou.zip into the ROMs folder for the emulator that comes with Fightcade (and neogeo.zip if you don't have a BIOS file) and it plays fine.

Not sure if it's the exact same version that FightCade uses online, but at the very least they're just regular-ass ROMs. So now you can use FightCade without having to dump cartridges or do something less-than-savory. B)

Humble Bundle has actually been on a roll lately. The Resident Evil bundle, the CodeMasters racing bundle and now this. This is one hell of a deal for $10 dollars.

This is one bundle where I'll pay the highest tier for every possible game. :] PC is the optimal backward compatible platform, so no worry of buying these and having to rebuy them again on the PS5 or something. :D

Barf, DotEmu. You can't even rebind the keys in the launcher.

at least the KOFs aren't DotEmu so they'll probably be okay.

Well, at least you can use the ROMS in a proper emulator:

Well I went in for $10, then realized they are mostly just ROMS. Oh well at least I have Metal Slug on Steam now instead of having to play the PS2 collection.

If the ROMs in this collection work with FightCade out-of-the-box (and there's no reason they shouldn't unless the online component expects a different region than is given), then this is a great way to support SNK Playmore while still being able to play the games in a way that doesn't rely on DotEmu's crap.

I don't follow the Neo Geo collector market, so I have no idea.

I just heard AES is ridiculous.

Yah AES is out of many peoples price range. It's easier to get a 1 slot MVS and buy the arcade versions. There are several ways to get the 1slot board hooked up to a tv/controller to play.
