Hundreds of Protesters and Supporters Clash Outside Trump Utah Rally

I'm all for protesters at Trump rallies. I'm just not sure what a roadblock protest against Trump is supposed to accomplish. It's not like protesting the local govt or police force. It's not going to make Trump end his campaign, it doesn't put any real pressure on him at all.

Well, yeah. It's complete fact. Or intuition. And no way will people get excited because of the protests. Where their frustration builds and released via protest. Activated by protests. That never happens.

In my bubble, I've already concluded that protest is useless. So, I see no positives.

Not one time did he really discuss policy or go in depth,just the same bloated smoke and mirrors as usual. Say what you want but if he goes against Bernie or Hillary in debates in the general where he'd be forced to put up or shut up,he's gonna get slaughtered something serious.

This isn't for changing minds. This is for people in America and abroad who need to know that we're not just made up of people who cheer on or silently tolerate bigots. This is for sapping media attention away from it's fetishistic focus on Trump not as a danger but as a curio. This is for Trump, his supporters, and all the racists in and out of the republican race to know that there are human faces behind the specters they conjure up. This is also for them to know that they have an enemy that will push back against their backwards ideologies, win or lose. This is a statement not a thesis and not a plea.
 
Whenever I watch a large political rally, I start to wonder about the concessions stand royalties and how much they cost. I might be easily distracted.

This is getting a bit scary with protestors and Trump supporters clashing. I hope it doesn't escalate to the point where someone gets seriously injured or worse but I'm starting to think this is a real possibility.

Also the GOP is stupid if they are running a third party candidate. This creates the perfect scenario for Trump to win the general election. Idiots.

I said this for awhile that he would get slaughtered in an actual debate vs democrats especially Hillary.

I can't imagine how wild things are going to get in Cleveland at the GOP convention.

It's going to be a sight to behold.

I would guess the thinking is that they're fucked as far as getting the White House, so a third party candidate would at least help make sure supporters don't stay home because of Trump and cost them downticket races.
