I've said it multiple times this thread but if you listened to Trump's rhetoric about banning Muslims and building a wall to keep out the Mexican rapists and were still on the fence, there wasn't gonna be much to convince you. If blocking traffic for a day convinces you to vote for a man who's probably had the most comparisons to Hitler of anyone since the start of the millennium, you weren't for progress no matter what you said to convince yourself. The eyes of the whole world are on us right now and it's up to us to make it clear that there is a population in the United States that is not satisfied with just laughing Trump off as an anomaly. There is a population that doesn't have the luxury of waiting and seeing if he becomes president to make their dissatisfaction with the rise of a bigoted presidential hopeful known. We've had multiple examples throughout history and the world where men invested in breeding hatred and strife wouldn't have gotten into power if people actually spoke up. People are going to vote against Trump but they're also going to make it clear through words and actions that they don't want rhetoric like Trump's to define America.

Well said. Not only is this election at stake, we need to scare any other racist from trying to take up his mantle and tweaking the approach. I'm ready to protest and go to jail.

I've criticized the previous generation. Old black folk telling the younger generation to pull up their pants while the black community had descended into chaos on their watch. I don't want my kids to have a chance to wonder what I was doing.

The roadblocks assist minorities. If you are against the roadblocks, you are against assisting minorities.

It shouldn't be hard, but it seemingly is.

Or maaaaybe some posters think blocking roads isn't the best way to assist minorities.

But sure, go ahead, call them racist.

It's ok to think posters against the roadblocks are wrong. It's not ok to assume posters against the roadblocks are racist.

This shouldn't be hard.

Brings more free press and attention to Trump; the protesters are most likely NOT going to vote so what exactly is the point?

To show the rest of the world that a huge contingent of the a American people are not going to take his shit and his followers lying down even in the face arrests and worse. Its not just about convincing those on the fence but showing the disenfranchised and down trodden that someone supports you as much as telling the bigots that they cant just get away with their hate, that people are going to fight them tooth and nail.

So you don't think that protesting works?

It does. There isn't room for debate there.
It's not a forgone conclusion. The success of a protest isn't measured on the number of people it inconvenienced. It's going to be measured on the actions that protest inspired. And the jury is still out on that.

The core problem right now is low information voters. The key question is how do you fight that?

Again the same people are not gonna vote and yet again he's getting his message across to a broader audience

Should have went to this AZ Trump rally. Could have held a anti trump sign. Maybe 45 mins drive from me. Need to stay on top of these things. Proud of the people in my state for the protesting.

There's a study that was done thats says his grammar is at a 5th grade level. It sounds about right lol.
He does this on purpose. It's easier for more people to connect to his rhetoric if it's simpler and grandiose. Say what you want about the guy, he is a skilled manipulator/orator/horrible person.

That message is still getting out there either way. He is on every damn news channel whether there are protests or not. I'm not sure what you are getting at. More Mexicans, Blacks, Muslims, Gays and so on hear about his bullshit from this as well, does that mean that they might start voting Trump? Again if some traffic is what gets people to Vote Trump they were just waiting for a reason to vote Trump anyways.

Yup. Anybody trained in business writing recognizes it. As to the point as possible.

he has something in common with Bernie, lol
against NAFTA and against TPP

This is the first time I've heard him mention Pfizer's reverse takeover I think.

http://fortune.com/2015/11/23/pfizer-allergan-merger/

Oddly enough, Bernie has also been hitting Pfizer for what is regarded as the largest "tax inversion" in corporate history.

Bernie and Trump are very closely aligned on trade and have been for a long time. They are both quite opposed to Hillary who supported NAFTA and TPP.
