I'm not expecting this direct to be very long. They've already shown a bunch of characters.

3 new characters
Challenge mode
New stages
New weapons for revealed characters. (We still don;t know Link's final weapon)
Villain story
Ganondorf DLC costumes

Seems like a ton of stuff to reveal to me.

Sorry if this is in the thread somewhere already...

But are we getting a Youtube stream or is it only streaming from Nintendo's website?

Mostly here to see Ganondorf's Hyrule Warriors design, if we don't get that then

That part of Skyward Sword is pretty much the main reason I gave this game a look. That was just fun.

I remember playing this part for the first time and thinking "wow, this suddenly went Dynasty Warriors." Little did I know.

Since I'm playing through Samurai Warriors Chronicles again right now, random complaint. I hate how everything is based on dial-a-combos, you can't just do the move you want by pressing a certain button combination. It's really annoying when you have a move that attacks all around you, but there's some goon poking you in the back, so you can't get three normal attacks out first. Sengoku Basara does it the more sensible way.

Got bored waiting, and I liked the Boxarts last page, so I decided to adjust the Boxart to NOA's new Standard for Zelda Boxarts, since they're publishing here.

Oh God no!

For what it's worth I liked the majority of the gold implementations, especially with WWHD. But this? This would be atrocious.

*vomits*

Please dear god don't do that

Thats why I did it, because NOA just wont quit. I didnt care for it on OoT 3D or ALBW compared to the rest of the world. Skyward Sword was alright...and WWHD was..okay...but they just wont stop, I'd prefer colored box art and actual gold case instead.

"A user from NeoGAF has successfully replicated our boxart design for the upcoming game, Hyrule Warriors, please take a look."

It's 10:23 pm, I'm staying up just for you Hyrule Warriors, don't disappoint.

It'll just be Ganondorf and a reveal that all the villains are playable

We're getting Manhandla, so I don't see why we can't get some more 2D Zelda bosses. I'm hoping for Aquamentus and Gooma.

There are a lot of bosses I'd like to see. Helmasaur King, Mothula, Blind the Thief, and Goht are some of the most memorable for me. I don't think any of them will appear. Koloktos and Tentalus, maybe.

More than anything, though, I'm hoping for big blue pig Ganon. We don't get enough big blue pig Ganon.

EDIT: Oh, and Dead Hand and Bong Bongo, those are good too. Creepy as shit.

I'm staying up to watch this because I'm foolishly hoping for some Zelda U footage

I'm European

What's wrong with me D;

How do you talk about Dynasty Warriors for 26 minutes?

It's just going to be Hayashi drunkenly berating the reviewers for calling the game repetitive.

I'm expecting a lot of it to be recaps...

EDIT: Why does it already have, like, 4 dislikes?

When the game was announced, there was quite a bit of "they're defacing the Zelda franchise with this shit". Even in the Media Create threads, funny enough. I guess people are still biter.

Because it's not Smash Direct? Yeah, It's a wild guess.

Anyway, I'm hyped for Hyrule Warrior Direct. Bring it on Groose and Ganondorf trailers!

Yea, 26 minutes is not a lot of time. I remember the Hyrule stream last week was an hour long and we barely got anything aside from a few commercials.

I am ready!

just wondering, which stream is better? I guess I'll watch in on youtube, wonder if there is better quality(aka internet speed killer) on other channels

but to what really matters, pls show Ganondorf
