Or they want to get the hype train started for the holidays. They need Zelda fans to buy a Wii U for Hyrule Warriors to do any sells.

Yeah, you can't really stay up longer, as you're going to lose pretty much the whole night and by waking up at 5:00 I don't think I can sleep after the direct two more hours or so before going to work. I will probably go for the recorded thing at 7:00.

Some people already are, someone i know thought Hyrule Warriors was the next mainline Zelda game till i showed him the actual thing and explained Hyrule Warriors is a spinoff.

There's a good chance we could get a Ganondorf trailer for Smash Bros 4 as well. After all launch for this is getting pretty close.
 
I can feel the Nintendo Direct hype and the Hyrule Warriors hype creeping into my bones. You guys excited? How hype would a Ganondorf reveal be.

I'm still expecting this.

Even if the other villains are little more than just tag-alongs for Ganondorf's side of the story (or, at worst, all of them are Free Mode), it still makes more sense to me to just have them as bonuses in some way.
 
Hm, some kind of tie in to Zelda U packaged into Hyrule Warriors would be really smart I believe, especially for sales in NA. Won't happen though...
 
I hope we get a demo like after the Wonderful 101 Direct, seems like the sort of game that could use one for those sitting on the fence or unsure what it plays like.

It would certainly push units. Though the exclusive demo is better saved for something riskier.

A Zelda U demo included with Splatoon would be perfect.

A demo seems like a bad idea. Actually playing the game might dissuade people who are in it for the Zelda stuff from buying it.
 
A couple of reveals and then, by the end of the direct, the goddamned Majora's Mask 3DS TEASE PLEASE!!! Could it be this time?
 
Europe usually does this things at 5pm, the time of this Nintendo Direct is a little bit shitty, hope they dont continue this trend.

Now its impossible, but I would love to see some surprise charcters we still dont know about. Would be amazing to see at least Groose.
 
05:00 is so fucking late. I think I'll see it at 08:00 but it's a shitty time too. In Summer I usually get up around 12:30. #firstworldproblems
 
I might be the only one, but I'm not that keen on Groose being a character. Cool if he's there but there are a ton of other characters I'd rather have.

Luckily I have one week left, before I have to go back to work.
 
I´d love to join USGaf for the direct....but 5 o´clock is just.....the worst time possible.

Edit:

- Europe : 5AM (5/8)
- UK : 4AM (5/8)
- USA (East Coast): 11PM (4/8)
- USA (West Coast): 8PM (4/8)
- Japan : 12PM (5/8)

Those times are ALL terrible. They are either too late or far too early. Hell, even 8 PM is far from ideal. It is like they don´t want anybody to watch it live .
