just a person who leans a bit left but also finds sjws annoying as hell and enjoys a good offensive joke or two. i also find it fascinating that people don't get totally bored by echo chambers, i certainly do. conflict is what makes things interesting. for example, I loved TLOU Part II a ton but i was so bored reading the articles where people praised it, I already had my reasons for liking it, and i was way more interested in reading the negative articles about it, especially if they were smartly argued. it never changed my mind, but it's very entertaining. me posting here is an extended version of that and anyone who actually cares about having nuanced and informed opinions about things should always be looking to the side that disagrees with them

The difference here is that we're allowed to have that discussion. If you don't like what someone has to say about Elliot Page then counter their arguments with whatever points you have and help them understand your point of view. That's what I did in that thread, and ultimately, just ended up confusing myself further.

At the end of the day though, most here don't wish Elliot any harm, they just don't understand what the hell she/he's talking about.
