Ok, here's the situation :

I payed for two items by money order (can't do anything else I fear). One on Ebay, one on a comic book website (comicxposure.com). And I haven't received anything yet. And it's been 2 month. Both won't reply my emails.

I posted a bad feedback on ebay, hoping to wake up the seller. Sent him a couple of emails (each week after the first month).

But what can I do about the comic book website? What kind of resource do I have againt them? My biggest complaint is that they won't answer my emails.

I've bought dozen and dozen of items via Internet and via money order, and I always received my items.

I'm Canadian though, that might be a problem.

Here's a story, my brother tried ordering some books and Madden2005 from amazon and every time he tried he got an invalid credit card page. But when he got the credit card bill the order was charged five times.

Doesn't Ebay have some kind of system where you can report stuff like this? I might be thinking of the insurance policy you have to purchase though.

I have one of the worst eBay stories ever, but I don't want to share it because it's pretty embarassing. All I'll say is that I lost hundreds of dollars and I will never buy anything from Canada ever again.

... it's also where all my Canuck hate comes from.

I'd don't think I'd EVER order anything only without using a debit/credit card with some sort of fraud protection. I've had half my bank account ganked before by an online fraud site and my bank gave me back every penny due to the nature of my card. I don't do money orders or cash...

I've had that happen to me too, where a 'credit card' company called my cell and asked me to sign-up with really nice sounding benefits. They told me the activation fee was going to be 2 dollars, but once that activiation fee actually hit my account, it was 200 dollars.

I called the company and bitched beyond reason, but they still had the same attitude: "I'm sorry sir, but we work on a no-refund basis. Once the activation fee has been collected there is no backing out of the process unless you want to lose the 200 dollars". I told them that I had already filed a fraud claim with my bank, and I literally got a response of silence for at least 15 seconds. Apparently I scared them shitless.

But long story short, my bank managed to get all of my 200 dollars back with no problem. *Hugs bank*

Yep, when it comes to debit cards in particular, the bank itself is liable and has to provide the money. Mine was such a large amount that I had to actually go to the bank and fill out fradulent reports, but they changed my account number and gave me all my money back.
