Are there any human equivalents of the medicine that you may have on hand? Sometimes it works, but look it up first.MrAngryFace said:just did some research, it doesnt look good, not sure how to help him out, or how I could afford a vet visit and medicine![]()

White Man said:My brother had two hamsters named the exact same things a long time ago. There was lovin; there was baby eatin'. Considering my age, that may be where I learned about sex and babies. Could potentially explain a lot.

Those asshats are lying out of greed. The oils in cedar that give it it's smell are actually vapors that can hurt a guniea pig's respiratory system, especially if the area isn't well venthilated. Aspen shavings, CareFRESH bedding, Crown Animal Bedding and "Yesterday's News" bedding is all good.cedar bedding, recommended for guinea pigs according to the label. Frenshed every other day, replaced completely every week and a half.
Those are fine, you might want to try some fresh spinach leaves in place of carrots as it is more nutritious. Also you should feed him a handful of hay every day to help keep his teeth from growing too long and his digestive tract running well.Fed a hamster/guinea pig feed mix from petsmart. Along with carrots, he likes those.
That's good.I keep the room at around 76 degrees.

Morts said:We used to have two of those dwarf hamsters, then eventually had about forty. It eventually got to the point where the original mother had been impregnated by her offspring several times. She was a nasty bitch, too. She tore the father's eye out but then still used him for sex. The babies were so small though that they'd slip through the bars in the cage, so every morning for a while after a birth we'd find half a hamster on the living room floor because the cats had gotten to them.
