If Demon's souls remake is true, what do you want to see?

I'd keep the layouts of the areas generally the same, but interconnect the worlds and have the archstones exist as something you find. Obviously have next gen graphics and update the combat with lessons learned from the Souls Trilogy.
How do you interconnect the world if archstones are like hundreds of miles away from each other lorewise?

Just having instant re spawn on death due to no load time is going to blow my mind in a souls game.
this is what gets me really excited for next-gen as I see it as the key feature that allows making gameplay more challenging. Without it games like Hotline Miami would never work

I really don't see why anyone would remake Demon Souls unless it's From Software themselves.

Seems like a good way to create a rocky relationship with one of Japans premier developers. If anything is true about a Demons Souls Remake I think Sony would have to Purchase From Soft and have at least a bit of their oversight on the project.

Well the original was developed by From with Sony Japan.

As much as I liked DS I wonder how basic it might feel now after all the other Soulsbornes. So if they're making it they should probably remake a lot of it.

It doesn't feel basic. Its the same as dark souls. A little different than bloodborne and later more action oriented titles.

It has some potent farming hotspots that you can use and make game easy. Also a few bosses can be glitched and made easy. That's easy to fix IF you see these as problems.

So many things :
- option to opt out of server tendency, keep world tendency per character, but optional so players can join server events if they want to (halloween, etc)
- ability to restore Land of Giants archstone (some obscure quest, don't make it easy, that would be boring)
- remove carry limit
-remove or add more gendered armor
- tune magic
- add 1 or 2 named BP to the 6th archstone so there is a margin of error to get the Friend Ring offline
- fix Pure bladestone drop rate, or add one as quest reward
- add pure darkmoon stone and pure moonlight stone as quest rewards so players aren't stuck with the 4 chances of getting one from the crystal lizards.
- improve AI and enemies movement boundaries so they aren't so easy to cheese (bosses included)
- remove the need to be hollow to use the soapstone, having to suicide in the Nexus everytime a player wants to help a friend or do random co-op is silly.

Rework the bosses. A good portion of them are pretty easy.
Lol no.
Miyazaki had said that they aimed for each boss to feel unique and special and i think they really nailed that in terms of creativity. Unlike subsequent Souls games they didn't create challenging bosses just for the sake of being challenging.
It's one of the things in the game that Blue Point should leave untouched.

Don't wanna risk another ff7 shitty remake so i'm good with the same exact game with better graphics and less janky controls tbh.

Also better camera and no fucking compenetration.

Just stick the content into the DS3 framework and make sure it works. That's about it.

If this thing is real, after DS1-3, BB and Sekiro, anyone who hasn't already played DeS but has played others is probably going to get hit with a strong sense of "this is it?".

I've really started to tire with the constant remakes. I guess I understand if you never owned a PS3 in this case, but the original is just as good as it was when it released.

I like that it's so rare. But I have tons of patience if I love something (like DS), so I had several pure bladestone. It always felt special when you got one.
I have heard (and also seen in Lets Plays) that it's more easier to get it in the NA and EU versions than the Asian one. The last time i played the game i played the Asian version trying to get the platinum and after hours of farming the black skeleton i finally gave up. It seemed as a complete waste of time.

Oh, I didn't know there was a region difference for it. That makes sense though.

If they fixed that broken archstone il be forced to buy it again
As long as From Software themselves design that i'm all for it! I know that they had done some work for it but it's not enough for Blue Point to work on it themselves (as much as i love and respect BP's work). At the very least the Giants archstone is something that BP needs to work very closely with FS IMO.

A shot for shot remake with nothing added and nothing removed, with world tendency slightly changed to be less obtuse, with next gen visuals and sound.

I thought it was pretty clear.

Play well = game easier
Play bad = game harder but more experience, can tweak to your favor to mine XP

From Software have remade it already several times since so I don't much care.

I don't want them to change it too much to where it is a different game.

1. Add the destroyed arch stone area as additional content

2. Graphical replacements as the original textures are just bad in some places

3. Provide details about how World Tendency and Character Tendency work

4. Adjust some of the hit detection

5. Don't make any changes to the core of the game like adding half way points or limiting invasions or nerfing magic

Be able to play during the first scourge would be amazing ! But i want to begin with the tutorial that was present in the original game . A "side quest" maybe then ?
Reworked audio would be nice to give a taste of what can be done in PS5 . Day one of course ! And it would be interesting if the bloodstains system where you can see the death of another player was expanded : instead of just seeing the last seconds before a player death , we could see a little more , and from his perspective . On top of that, i would love to find a bloodstain, go see how someone died and have the game telling me to try to play it myself .

That is quite the simplistic view of WT. Tendency changed more than just difficulty and exp, it changed the world and opened up new paths, different characters, dialogue, quests, hard mode, easy mode, more prone to invaders, less invaders, hidden timers that reset tendency, crystal lizard spawn etc. No way you would understand how tendency fully works without resorting to a guide.

I just don't see remaking the game without Miyazaki completely in charge being the right move for Sony. It seems like he is all in with Elden Ring so I doubt he has the time to be overseeing another project at the same time. With the vast amount of old Sony IPs it seems like a waste putting Bluepoint on this.

If this remake does exist I don't see them changing much other then graphics, framerate, combat and some minor game improvements.

I doubt they want to do anything with the lore or atmosphere unless Miyazaki is directly overseeing it. New weapons and areas means adding new lore so Miyazaki better be involved if that's the case. I wouldn't risk messing with his original baby.
