Would you worry less about their attempts at innovations?
Also what were your reactions to the announcements of the Rumble Pack, only pertaining to the console market. I find myself laughing sometimes, when I read some of you guys comments on the issues of innovation and Nintendo. The extreme that some think Nintendo is heading is funny aswell, its understandable somewhat due to the vagueness of several PR comments.
But I get the feeling that if Nintendo had the leading console on the market, their attempts at innovation will be welcomed. Its possible GC-GBA connectivity could have taken off if Nintendo had the leading console today. Developer support would have been better for the feature.
We all know that Nintendo does alot of R&D, they invest in exsisting technology that may benefit gaming in some way. If it doesn't lend itself to benefit gaming in a practical sense, don't expect it to reach stores. Nintendo has been like this since the NES, some things fail and some were successes.
I'm not worried, just curious as hell, though.
