Oh I 100% that's what he mainly cares about. I'm fond of

background on GAF.
To the bolded.......I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of honesty and level of discourse with this conversation. It has nothing to do with someone agreeing with me or not. The whole conversation started off bad based on the title of OP and IGN's article. Everyone (if you're being honest) knows for a fact that every Sony game doesn't tell the same story. We all know that to be a lie. So now we have to deduce what the author "REALLY" meant, which is a lost cause because our opinions will differ since the premise of the written article is so bad.
Do they mean.....
- Sony makes too many 3rd person games?
- Sony makes too many games with darkness to them?
- Sony makes too many 3D games?
- Sony makes too many games with women leading them?
- Sony makes too many games that have revenge stories?
And who are you to say Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, and The Last of Us don't explore the gamit of the medium very well? Isn't that on the overall gamers to decide? What if that's what the people love? Only a small/weird minority of people think those 3 games are too similar. To the rest of us, they explore totally different vibes, gameplay styles, entertainment value types, etc.
Helldivers 2 is their IP

. They were the ones to greenlight the 2nd one, after the first one was a cult classic. Even the devs stated that Sony stuck with them after a long 8 or 9 dev cycle. No reason to randomly act like Sony cares about certain games, but not others.
