FFXII is a great game. I really want an HD remake.
Remaster time Square-Enix. We all bought FFX HD, now it's your move.
7 posts before devolving into List Warzz.
We can do better next time.
I know way more people that love 12 than dislike it. I didn't like it other than the world. The plot and battle system weren't really my thing.
Every FF that came out after FF6 is regarded as "the worst". Its kind of like the 3D Zelda cycle. FF13 deserves the title as the worst FF series though. FF12 was excellent.
I personally believe the world of Ivalice (all Tactics games along with FFXII) is the best world Squaresoft has created. That's probably just me though.
It wasn't a symbol of a decline. XIII was made as a modern JRPG. XII was fun, but the gambit system went a bit overboard and made it seem automatic. Plus there weren't really classes until Zodiac came out. Plus it had much better dialogue and atmosphere than most PS2 RPGs had.
XIII took everything and made it simple. Giving FF fans one of the cheapest feelings in FF. Spamming a spell until the guard breaks. If anything XIII should of been more like XII, but weren't they testing XIII's battle system for a while?
XIII was too emotional.
One of the best Final Fantasy games ever created. I preferred it over FFX (that's right, you mofos can fight me if you want) Fuck that animu trite shit that was FFXIII, in fact FFXIII was punishment for people shitting on FFXII.
I still own my LE steelcase and Prima guidebook (With Fran on the cover).
Who's out there hating Tactics? I'll have to fight them.
I agree, the game needs nothing but an HD remake.

My hope for FFXV was that it would be a Hiroyuki Ito game. It's a shame it's just going to be Versus 13 rebranded.
Maybe Ito will do FFXVI?

Agreed. Ivalice Alliance better than all other groups.I personally believe the world of Ivalice (all Tactics games along with FFXII) is the best world Squaresoft has created. That's probably just me though.
Those who say FFXII doesn't need to be defended, I can assure you it actually does. I don't know for sure if minds changed since the original release, but at that time, there were a lot of negative comments.
If Ito is not working on FF16 right now, then I have literally no idea why Square continues to employ him.
