What the hell is an Animal Style Burguer and Fries? I've gone only once to an In N Out when I was in California (it was PACKED) and I certainly didnt order an Animal Style anything.

Also, I hate the name. What's so Animal Style about it?

it's a secret menu option, but one so well-known they have it in their system so they can charge you extra for it. Animal style fries are topped with spread, onions, and cheese, and animal style burgers are topped with spread (and onions?).

I'm a New Yorker. My wife grew up in San Fran and we typically travel there twice a year. I try to get In-N-Out every time. It. Is. So. Good.

I liked covering them in the cheese sauce when I was a kid.

Also the real star St. Louis chain is Lion's Choice. That place is amazing and there's nothing like it anywhere else. (Arby's doesn't count)

I had already mentioned Shake Shack, Ray's Hell Burger, Five Guys in this area and my original point was that those in addition to the designer burger places mean we don't need fucking In-N-Out.

Portillos has the same exact fries as Shacks, but I like them. I prefer handcut fries like Five Guys but like crinkle fries.

Shake Shack just opened literally next door to my apartment a couple months ago and oh lawd I didn't know what I was missing. Cheese fries are so good. The chicken is so good. I just wish they sold the chicken as chicken fingers.

I never liked In N Out. Too little meat, too much lettuce, and their fries are fucking gross. Your options are soggy or burnt to a crisp. And don't get me started on Animal Style (who wants mustard cooked onto their meat, bleh).
