Early access on the Friday making people feel like plebs if they wait until the Monday. Such a scummy new industry standard.

Basically GP gives you the gimped version and encourages even more expensive than usual editions lol.

If you drink your own Kool-Aid, you might not get the result you envisioned. MS actually believed that "Gamepass increases sales" for a while there and it wasn't until they spent $100 billion on acquiring game studios over a decade only to find that giving away all their games on a sub service kills revenues that they started actually trying to sell games a little bit

It's really too late at this point, MS has trained all their gamers to never buy and wait for GP on Xbox Xbox, Xbox Windows, Xbox Cloud, and Xbox Switch. The only platform left for MS where they can still try to sell games is Xbox Playstation because GP isn't available for that platform lol

Apparently, there is an optional download for Ultra 4K textures that increases the install size to 158 GB. I hope most games would do this instead of shoving 100 GB+ downloads to all users. I game on a Steam Deck/Switch/PS5, seated 5ft away from a 40" screen. None of these systems would see any benefit from ultra 4K textures, I would take a 100 GB install size reduction over ultra 4K textures that I can't see.
 
Will be very interesting to see the performance as this is only the second game on Id Tech 7, the other being Doom Eternal.

It will be Interesting to see if the lighting quick load times and insanely high frame rates (pc) carry over from a technical standpoint.
 
I'll let to download it Friday after work.

Can't wait to play this. I hope the PC version will work smoothly day one.

What platform, what issues are you facing and a post that makes actual sense would help :)

I'm on xbox, and i thought that i would be able to preload like i did with stalker 2 by using the xbox app, but it only let's me download 314,8mo insteax of the 130go, also i'm French so English is not my first language...

You should be able to preload on Xbox now. The 314.8Mb(?) would be the placeholder that it downloads before the preload is available. Did you try hard resetting your box and trying to download again? Alternatively delete the placeholder and try again.
 
Microsoft got a chance to make some cash here. If this reviews well I'm buying the upgrade like a sucker.

If it's swimming in 7s I'll wait till the 9th but I'm still excited to play.

I tried both, still not working, maybe it's available in some countries but not others, thanks anyway !
 
Another woke game most probably because I remember seeing this game in Sweet Baby Inc website. I will wait for reviews first and see if the woke stuff is pretty much on your nose but I am honestly not hopeful

They suckered me with Starfield, I bought the extra stuff to play early, The reviews were so positive that FOMO kicked in and I caved.
 
Prepared and ready. Really hoping it's solid. Adored Indiana Jones growing up.

The last two movies don't exist. NO, THEY DON'T! SHHHHH!
