Indiana Jones Consoles (PS5 Pro) vs PC comparison

Garbage developers. You shouldnt need path tracing or even RT to have those kind of shaders for wooden walls, and mettalic objects. Not to mention reflections which can be easily screenspaced in a linear game like this.

Just terrible optimization but as long as it runs at 60 fps and high resolutions on consoles, no one bats an eye.
Underrated comment.

Indiana is clearly rushed and PT+RT is there just to shave some manhours, especially since last gen games like TLoU2 are still holding up beautifully, not to mention RT-free HFW or even Uncharted 4.

Funny thing that MGs own Wolf 2 was way more consistent and beatiful just becuse they've spent enough time and budget on light baking and other static tech.

Expecting more than videos showing running in empty scenarios is not moving goalposts, and you saying that on his behalf is very hilarious.

Empty scenarios, nothing happens etc.

What about this?

drops to 49 fps unacceptable (as if it won't be playable with a VRR screen)

jk

anyways these are good framerates for frame generation so it's not like a higher framerate experience is not possible. but I guess then you'd need to reduce the texture budget. I'd use high texture budget over ultra for that

not to mention 50 fps with reflex is more responsive than 60 fps vsync modes on consoles anyways

I played it without RT reflections of PT (but with PT lighting and shadows - the most important stuff) and it was locked 60 in every location besides river level.

Vatican can be CPU limited on 5800X3D below 60fps with PT:

Or around 100fps without it.

There don't seem to be any major differences with the PS5 Pro version. (Compared to PS5 and XSX)
PS5 Pro version has a higher resolution and there are some slight differences in the settings.
