huh, there's a random ability universe up however it doesn't show that I can unlock any abilities for Starfire.

Anyone else have this issue? Guess this is punishment for those of us that have all abilities unlocked...

Playing AS Starfire is fun AF, playing AGAINST Starfire is irritating AF because how quickly she can get her character power out.

I honestly think she gets way too much use out of one bar from her character power, she should not be able to use it as frequently as she does IMO.

Like maybe if a single beam use of her trait cost more of her trait bar so it's more of a tactical choice whether to use it for pure zoning or damage, that'd be the ideal solution so as not to nerf what makes the character strong. I believe that was the intended goal as 16 bit pointed out in her stream.

Most likely Gamescom. They showcased Harley for the first time last year so I'm guessing Fighter Pack #2 will be there this year.

I'm hoping we'll see the FP2 character reveal before then and an actual gameplay trailer for the first character (please be Manta) at Gamescom. They split up the FP1 reveal and Red Hood gameplay ones by a few weeks.

Considering Starfire only releases next week for non-Ultimate edition users, I wouldn't expect any news not revolving around her until at least a week after that. Gamescom would make a lot of sense, for sure.

Yeah, I want it sooner, but they probably want to give some time after Starfire is available for everyone.

Gamescom runs the 22-26, so it's not too far off. I was thinking it was later for some reason.

[edit] Just looked up the bio for Terra. Yeah cant see NRS ever adding that character since she's been rebooted like 3 times. Plus I never even heard of her

If you've never heard of Terra then you've never watched the Teen Titans or their movie The Judas Contract.


Also there isn't a single comic character with any amount of longevity that hasn't been rebooted. Hell the Superman we have in comics is the reboot of the original of the reboot that's in fact the Superman that we got before the reboot....exactly.

Right, I've watched some Teen Titans TV show episodes but never watched their movies. I've mostly stuck to Justice League, Blue Beetle, Sandman, Batman, Legion of Super Heroes (by far my favorite really), Watchmen (just original novel), and Green Lantern Corps.

Speaking of Legion of Super Heroes I'd love to see one of them show up. I've seen mentions of Brainac from LoSH but that's all I recall

oh bout the reboot- I would find her confusing cause which version would they choose? All her incarnations, unlike Supes, seem completely different too me. but I only browsed her bio for like few mins cause still at work :)

you all have done it-- now I will have to go see if I can rent Judas Contract right fast. I'll speak to Terra then. Been itching to watch more DC movies

I'm finally home from work (today felt extra long)

[edit] No luck on Judas, Amazon wants too much. Will have to wait on netflix dvd

Diving back into the game for Starfire and I notice they heavily, heavily nerfed the VS experience. That kinda sucks... Oh well, "Endless Battle" while I fold laundry it is.

Single fight against the very easy AI. Make it a mirror match so that you can stay within the 5 level limit.

don't do that bro. Just spend the 10,000 source crystals and you'll get level'ed up to 20 fast.

Did you download Starfire from the PSN Store?

If so, try going into account settings on the options in your PS4 and select "restore licenses".

Then restart the console and try again.

Playing this made me realize that I hate fighting game single player crap. I hate it so much that I bought a controller with turbo to do the boring multiverse crap for me online is fun though.

I honestly don't know of any hacks to get source crystals (or profile XP) fast. If I did, I'd at least PM you guys the secret so we can keep it on the down low so we can all get rich together and full enjoy our bling

The only method I know of is quite slow where I equip either Cyborg or Red Hood with their +25% Profile XP gear (along with +9% Wisdom bonus) and send them into endless. but it sucks ;(

If you hit the level 10 bonuses for special moves before it was patched you got bonuses rewarded every time instead of just once, and a super jacked up profile level as a result. It took a ton of running AI matches, but if you were able to do so, it was definitely possible. There was also one for perfect matches which was possible to hit if you ran a lot of matches to level up or get any gear bonuses for perfect matches.

The thing was it was NR's bug. It's unfortunate because the annoying RNG loot box /drop stuff encourages you want to run the AI whenever you can. I should have stopped playing. I didn't get extra crystals, and now people tend to refuse matches despite my record not being that good.

I would like a profile level reset option or some kind of fix.
