So we're getting Power Girl and Super Girl in the game as DLC? Excellent!

No, those are just support cards for the IOS game lol, there is a whole bunch of different characters in that.

The artwork in the Injustice IOS game is all over the place, but that Power Girl reminds me of of early 2000 3D porn.

Naw, it's just a support card for the iOS game. There are quite a few of them including Martian Manhunter, Ra's al Ghul, Braniac, the Riddler, Bizarro and more.

So, this iOS game is broken as fuck and I will pretty easily power through to the "hidden reward" now. You can clone your strongest character which gives them 3x experience for 3x energy and changing the clock on the iphone actually gives energy back, hahaha.
 
Haha knew it, every time they talk about the online in interviews or in stream chat, the things they say never inspire confidence, always felt like preemptive damage control.

I doubt a patch will help at all.

The only thing left to see is if its Marvel bad, or MK bad.
I can deal with Marvel bad. When both people had a decent connection it ran fine.

Can you elaborate on the cloning thing? I haven't been playing the game because the fatigue has gotten to me. So anything that could make the process of getting things faster would be appreciated.

Yup, just go to edit team and remove everyone. Take the character you want and put him in the left slot, then middle, then right. Leave the character on the right and back out, and for some reason the character is duplicated on all 3 slots.

I think three characters have divekicks, Superman, Adam and I can't remember the other.

Batman has one.

Not going to be surprised if it ends up shit though we should definitely hold off on judging it until the day 1 patch. Either way, it isn't like Marvel's online was good either and that game was immensely popular. Ie, the game will do fine no matter what and its online strength won't have much of an effect. The biggest "bonus" this fighter has over others is the story mode anyways.

Yeah that will be interesting. I'm sure it's fine, still going for PS3 though.

The UI is pretty, love the look of leveling up and all the rewards and stuff too

Marvel's online was playable. Which is more than I can say for the mess that was MK9.

Patches should be able to overhaul a netcode.

I never really played MK9 online. What was so bad about it? I also found MvÇ3 playable.

Input delay, lots and lots of it.

80% of the time it was really bad, 20% of time it worked pretty good.

People say MK9 on vita worked really well, but I have never tried it myself.

I was undecided, I knew I would buy this game at some point but now it is a day one purchase. I have a Hori EX2 stick ive barely used so I might finally try to learn it with this game.

I dont totally get the wager thing either? How does that work?

There is only one wager, its just depends on if you activated it or not, if you did, you are on defense, and the other person is on offense.

I really hate explaining how wager works, it is really over complicated for such a silly feature.

When your gray health is gone and you have at least one meter to wager, hold forward and press Meter Burn to initiate a clash. Arturo is referring to each player's position in the clash - who initiated the clash and whose combo was interrupted by the clash. If you initiate a clash and win, you will regain health (defensive). If you had your combo interrupted but win the wager, you will deal damage to the player who initiated the clash (offensive).

I concur. At least as I've gone over all Clash scenarios in my head, it's a balanced mechanic. I made a general strategy regarding when I would clash (last round and I have more meter) and how I would respond to clashes (bet at least as much as my opponent if I have more; bet nothing if I have less). I don't think it will outweigh the situation between two equally skilled players. The player initiating the clash was already put in a losing situation; if he needs to sacrifice meter he would have spent extending combos to heal himself and try his luck in the neutral game, so be it.

What's GL's trait? Do we have a list of all of them?

It improves some of his moves, like his anti air grab gets a bounce so he can combo after it, and his mini gun increases its range, and it also increase his damage on other specials.

You also may be able to special cancel it.
