Intel still has not fixed the crashes with 13th and 14th gen CPUs

Has Intel come out and said if you buy a brand new chip and only run it with their fixes, users will have no issues with degradation in the future?

If they did say it, would you trust them? I think we've reached that point.

It's mainly a question of it being put on the record. If they did and it still occurred, they'd have no choice but to replace/refund you.

I mean, if I got 3-4yrs out of a new, unused 14900K and get it replaced or refunded later, that wouldn't bother me one bit.

..just retire it to a second media centre, emulation box under the TV and move onto whatever new CPU is top dog In the future.

If you thought that the stability issues with Intel CPUs are already fixed, the answer is a big no.
Once again, Intel will release a new microcode update to try to fix the degradation issues with 13 and 14th gen CPUs.
Expect a new BIOS update in September. Maybe third time is a charm.
