Intervention: Microsoft GAF, you're out of control

Hasn't seemed that bad to me. Being a "fan" of either side, to the point you want the others to do badly, is absurd anyway since these are consumer products. And the corporations behind all three of them rake in money hand over first.

Look at the positive side. This might result in Sony gettimg back to earth and don't fucking us in the ass so much. I'm platform agnostic but I currently hate them and feel betrayed after spending a LOT of money on them (as PS4 was my main this gen).

I was ready to brush off the OP but I think they're on to something. It seems like ALL OF GAF must answer for the butthurt experienced by some fanboys who mixed it up with fanboys. And fanboys always claim The Other Side is worse.

It's all fun and games until someone makes an acquisition. C'mon man you were here when those Mattrick jokes were everywhere and the first DF videos dropped. MS fans are having their day in the sun, so what? Tensions have been wild and as a Sony owner I'm happy with the price point and continuing with them for now. I'm also glad MS have made strides. Competitive markets are better for us all.

The real problem is caring. Who cares this much? If anyone says the xbox has starfield or is more powerful, I'll just shrug and say yeah whatever.

When Sony gets a kick in the butt and MS fans have some fun, this year there's been a few threads created by Sony fans complaining (this thread is another one).

When was the last time an MS gamer made a dedicated thread about Xbox getting stomped on? The fun has only been the last 6 months starting with Cerny and LoU2, and now some recent PS5/Series X news.

So somehow 6 months of forum jabs are unbearable, yet PS4 list wars for 7 years was A-ok. Got it.
