Yeah looks like no Mac support yet. Weird, it makes perfect sense to include it.

WAIT!! do not give up hope!
iCloud makes it easy to move Pages, Keynote, and Numbers documents between your computer and your iOS devices. Just sign in to icloud.com/iwork in any modern web browser, and all your iWork for iOS documents will be there — complete with your most recent edits. Click a document to download it in iWork ’09, Microsoft Office, or PDF format. You can also drag and drop any iWork ’09 or Microsoft Office document from your computer into one of the iWork apps on icloud.com, and it automatically appears on all your iOS devices, ready for you to review, edit, or present.

so not quite absolutely seemless, as you've gotta go to your browser and download it and then drag it back into the browser.

Ahh, yes I see that now.

It's meant to be on the App as well though? Maybe it'll take a while to update.

Edit: Ha! Just as I wrote that, it's appeared on the app, lol.

Do iPad 1's get this update? Gonna try to find one cheap, or wait for a newer iPad to get an
iPad 2.

The ipad1 does get this update but the ipad2 is quite noticeable snappier, I would wait for ipad3 and grab a cheap ipad2.

Is there an alternate way to download other than through Apple's servers? I tried restarting it, but there's little improvement to the speed. 7 hours!

The problem is the error we're getting when running the Settings Software Update.
Yeah but wait till someone gets iOS 5 installed and see if they get that error too. Cause I don't see how that could only affect GM users since the software is the same.

I've been downloading since 19:05 or something. At least over 40 minutes. :(

551,2 MB of 700,3 so far. 12 minutes left. Slooooow.

Someone earlier said it runs fine.

Does the iOS 5 download work for both iPhones & iPads? There isnt a separate upgrade file for each iDevice?

I went home real quick (2 minutes from my office) and started the download by plugging in my iPhone 4 with the intention on running the full update this afternoon during lunch. The download complete and I plugged in my iPad 2 and clicked update and it went straight into the update without downloading a separate file.

Guys help. My weather widget was working last night, but now when I swipe down notification center it shows "weather offline". What the hell is going on?

Also any way to get my wired and gq magazines to work on my iphone under newsstand?

So if I'm running 4.3.3 jailbroken do I just hit update and that will remove all my jailbroken things? Or will I have to restore from a backup to do that?

Just hit update iOS5 requires a restore install no matter what

Always backup before installing an OS update.

After you update, yes you restore from backup.

omg it's out? Speeding to the computer. I have an hour to put this shit on my phone before I need to leave!
good luck with that I'm @ 55 mins 635Mb of 700Mb

Do I have to login in with my old Apple ID (freemail account) or do I have to create a new me.com account for iCloud?

I'm confused!

How do I manually organize my widgets. It is already marked off as manual, I just cant figure out how to move them in the center.

My weather widget is still showing up as offline. WTF?
