Anyone got any recommendations for a tower defence game? Preferably one that doesn't require IAP's to beat. I just finished up Kingdom Rush and I had a great time with that.

Threw around some mad edits to the OP, let me know what you think of it.
69. 185 floors covers all the currently available floors.

What's a good controller for iOS? Mainly for emulators.
I bought an iCade Bitty, but the d-pad is very unresponsive. Pressing a direction isn't enough, you have to press and then apply a good amount of pressure for it to register (almost feels like using one of the rare PS games with pressure sensitive buttons). You have to think about being sure to push "correctly" just enough that it takes you out of the game, defeating the purpose of using a controller instead of touch controls.
The iControlPad looks cool, and the upcoming 2 looks even better, but christ are they expensive.
King Cashing 2 feels like its so short, I already beat 2 out of 3 chapters. Chapter 4 is 'coming soon' but who knows what that means
I love it. Starts off slow but save up for the GT and money wheels. Great fun. Then you're flying around the track in no time.Friends, is Table Top Racing worth a pack of gum and the precious time it would take to chew it?
I got a bit of a random question for you guys.
I noticed that even though I only use 3 of the 4 rows available on my first screen on the ipad, everytime I download a new app it will always go to the second screen. Is there any way to fix that?
That was my thinking with the screens, also less bloat. I endeavour to have a trailer for each game listed as well.Holy shit! Those game banners are awesome. However, I think it's important to have multiple screenshots. But, if they're interested, they have those on the store anyways. Either way, those are sexy. Appel shud hire joo.
Thread title.
I definitely think it's worth it. Nailing the perfect backflip down two stories is pretty satisfying =DGreat OP!
Going to try out backflip madness with all the recommendations in here.
Awesome! Downloading it now.My game finally came out today. It's a math game for kids learning to count and add

Just got an iPhone and I'm beginning to dip my toe into the world of iOS gaming. Thanks for the OP by the way, should be really useful.
This probably isn't possible but I was wondering, if a buy a universal version of a game as well as playing it on my iPhone can I play it on my dad's ipad or would it be locked to one user's devices?
On a related note, I imagine Sword and Sworcery works best on iPad but does it play ok on iPhone?
It is actually very possible! You can install your apps on as many devices as you want.

As long as they share the same iTunes account...

Many of us on the dev team prefer it on iPhone, while others prefer it on iPad. I believe it holds up on either device.
You only need to be logged in on the same Apple ID during download/install, after that you can sign out again and swap over to the other ID again. Game progress will be independent between the two devices though. They don't. I figured that would be a problem. Ah well, as I was asking earlier, does Sword and Sworcery play ok on iPhone?
The series relies on tactics and replayability with the levelling up of your team. Episode One is pretty basic, once you've gotten a hang of it I fully recommend you jump into Hunters 2 which fleshes out the mechanics a bit and adds a campaign mode. Still play it ever so often, love it.I've just started getting into the Hunters series, starting with episode One. I'm having a tough time-some of the Contracts are Defend the Generators and I just get decimated. I bought a health pack in the store but I never seem to have a chance to use one - and my guys just get destroyed.

I like Jelly Defense myself.Anyone got any recommendations for a tower defence game? Preferably one that doesn't require IAP's to beat. I just finished up Kingdom Rush and I had a great time with that.
If you happen to have both Hunters, I would suggest you to play directly Hunters 2.
I consider Hunters Episode one just Hunters 2 alpha.
Hunters 2 has a nice little campaign that set the mood, a more streamlined but more fun and balanced set of rules...and as a whole is a much better game IMHO (I dismissed H1 after 10 days or so...it was 'soul-less' for me, while I spent over 100 hours in Hunters 2 which is my last year GOTY and I still play contracts daily...some of them still wipe out my maxed out Assault Rifle team).
The only thing that mitigated my disappointment for no new campaigns/heroes/retina/iCloud support is because the dev is busy working on Warhammer Quest.
You're racing the recorded runs of your friends and other people. As long as you're online every car is another player's recorded run on that track. So I don't understand how the online works in Real Racing 3. I'm obviously not playing these people real time, so what's the point?
While I'm incredibly excited for Warhammer Quest, the developer is notorious for over promising features and updates to their games and never actually delivering those things until the next game thereafter. Thus I'm a bit vary about all the things they've promised for WQ and wether or not we'll actually get to see them. The only thing that mitigated my disappointment for no new campaigns/heroes/retina/iCloud support is because the dev is busy working on Warhammer Quest.
Hey GAF, I don't play phone games very often, but I noticed a bunch of line drawing free games the other day, I'm sure people know them, they're about meeting two coloured circles in a grid, and taking up all available space, and there are lots of these games, I'm just wondering which game did it first that everyone has ripped off?
Thanks for the heads up, friend. I am downloading Hunters 2 as we speak. I found the first one to be promising, but a bit rough around the edges.
