Or was it mostly drained by the display? You don't know because that information doesn't exist.
Screen brightness has the largest impact on battery life.

His usage (screen on) wasn't enough that it should have drained him to 10% so quickly.Screen brightness has the largest impact on battery life.
Erm...What the fuck. Somehow I've already consumed 1.3gb of data this month on my 2gb cap. Is instacast downloading entire podcasts when I'm just streaming?

So... yeah. That kind of app would be helpful.

Might be LTE streaming causing you to use more than you're accustomed to?What the fuck. Somehow I've already consumed 1.3gb of data this month on my 2gb cap. Is instacast downloading entire podcasts when I'm just streaming?

There's no way I used 1.3GB in one day. I have wifi at work and used it all day.
Oh wow, then yeah, sounds like something's up with your office's wifi. Data shouldn't be getting used if you're connected to that. There's no way I used 1.3GB in one day. I have wifi at work and used it all day.
Here's what I show from at&t site

My guess is that this had to have been instacast perhaps trying to download/stream latest giant bombcast. Problem looks like instacast can download almost entire podcast while streaming, but if you switch to another cast, it seems to redownload the entire thing again.
But I don't get it. The bombcast is only 80-90mb. I should have been connected to the wifi last night at 8:27 at home. Unless for some reason my phone dropped wifi and stream netflix or something. Not really sure, but this is awful considering I have 29 days to go. If I sign up for new 3GB plan, will they restart my counter today?
You can turn off downloading unless you're on WiFi to avoid network usage.
Thanks so much! The words are indeed bigger! Great news! Edging very close to buying a Touch5G day one! More exclamations!!!!Here's a what it looks like in landscape in Chrome:
Here's Safari:
Yeah, it's the camera. iPhone 4S also had this. Nothing to worry about, although it can be annoying.Does the back on anyone else's rattle? I think it's the camera it seems to make quite a bit of noise
People actually bother to turn off wifi and cell data?
Yeah, it's the camera. iPhone 4S also had this. Nothing to worry about, although it can be annoying.
I mean, sure. I wasn't having a go.I'm going to turn off wifi if it means better than a pathetic 7 hours of battery life sitting on my desk playing podcasts that I'd already downloaded, yeah.

I just never bother with my 4 and have never had a problem with battery life. I hope the 5 isn't worst. :|

Mine is reporting 1.8 gigs downloaded in less than a day. And I'm about 99% sure I haven't actually downloaded 1.8 gigs over 3G in a little over 12 hours.
Got this bumper today.

It really feels good and fits very snugly around the phone. I'll enjoy it till my defender comes but I would recommend this to the folks who are going caseless. It really improves the grip and will protect it from falls at an angle
I've already done so. It didn't use to be a problem with 3G. I would hope instacast updates to save the cast, or only download enough for what I am listening to.
Extremely disappointed :-(
Is it possible there's something wrong with my battery?
Started fully charged (100%) yesterday at 11am. Went on a train ride till 4pm. No WiFi, no Bluetooth. Recorded 5 minutes of video, took about 40 shots (no flash). Infrequent Twitter checking. Email checking. At the end of the ride, I was down to 25%. I'm on Fido, so no LTE, but I did notice the LTE switch in Settings was on. Not sure if that matters.
Also, went to bed last night at 10pm, fully charged. Woke up and it was at 78%. WiFi was enabled, no Bluetooth, screen was (of course) off.

I also picked up that same bumper. It is pretty good. The only thing I don't like is that it's kinda hard to press the sleep/wake button. The resistance is too strong I feel. Maybe it'll loosen up after a while, but overall it's a good option and it keeps the integrity of the design in tact.

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3392984?start=0&tstart=0Not normal. I have a 4S and it is dead quiet when I shake it, not a sound (like shaking a stone).
Maybe your phones have a manufacturing defect?
Take it back to the store and have them look at it, because the phone should not make a noise (no moving or mechanical parts).
This is a prime example of what I said regarding LTE will cause people to go through their allotment quicker. Most thought that they'd use the same amount.
My phone switches to "4g" during a call is that normal?
Does the back on anyone else's rattle? I think it's the camera it seems to make quite a bit of noise
That's normal, every iPhone I've had up to the iPhone edge has done that. What you're hearing is the little motor that spins when the phone vibrates
Yeah, it's the camera. iPhone 4S also had this. Nothing to worry about, although it can be annoying.
