The next gen systems are "orders of magnitude" faster than current PCs according to this insightful powerpoint presentation. :) But seriously how will PCs counter that power. Is this the first time that a console's processor power exceeded the top of the line processor available to PCs at the time of release. How did the ~233 processors compare to PC processor at the time of release last gen?

Gears of War and Elderscrolls IV: Oblivion are both coming to the PC. Will it look as good as the consoles on my hardware? Nope. But with a good card, it should be good enough, so I'm set. Besides, none of the consoles are getting any Jagged Alliance games. ;)

Online Gaming for PC is where the money is. Games such as World of Warcraft and Counter-Strike/Half-Life 2. Well oke and Sims.

Console is big money with offline and online gaming.

:lol what?

Compared to previous generations, these consoles are seemingly farther behind the curve in terms of "dominating" their concurrent PCs. Due to their very nature the PC market doesn't really have to worry about the console one.
