Considering how many people don't date outside their race, and that some disturbing statistic like 1 in 3 black men are in prison or on papers (effectively no good)... the dilemma for the black woman can be understood.

Perhaps the figure for women balances that out.

That said when I think "Black men" I think African's outside of America mainly UK.

That said, women get the hots for prison guys. I did ten days in the UK for something inane (pushed someone) and I pulled on the day I was released. Makes a good conversation starter.

By the way people in the UK get locked up for anything. I was sharing a cell with a 50 year old who was doing 17 months for fly tipping, and then a 83 year old who refused to pay his council tax, he did 14 days.

I noticed atleast here in Sweden that well educated black females tend to choose a white partner, which almost always is older.

I'm half Chinese, and a quarter each Scottish and Irish. I grew up in Hawaii, where the overwhelming majority of the residents are Asian of some sort. Growing up, I was only attracted to pure Asian girls, because that's all there was around me. Once I moved out to college (Seattle), however, I expanded my horizons, so to speak, and I'm pretty much attracted to anyone that's good looking.

However, I do have a weakness for multiracial girls (the more races, the better ), probably because I want my kids to be like 20 different ethnicities if possible :lol But yeah, I just find that multiracial people are better looking to me, on the average.

I did, but my church which was mainly a African american church had white folks their. The 2nd Pastor was white, band leader for the horns was white, so it wasnt a big deal. To be honest im not very fond of racist company so its probably the reason I liked the church so much.

Aww dont be discouraged, the numbers of black women not liking white men are roughly even to the white men not liking black women so you have a good pool of ladies who are indifferent to race and just want a nice person to hang out with. Move to a nice size city with a rich variety of people, find activities that will interest you and who knows what may happen .

No idea why, but I'm not attracted to black women at all. Sometimes I can be attracted to parts of them. Like the thighs and ass (we all know black women have amazing tone). But in general, no. And like I said, no idea why.

Strangely, and 90% of GAF will think I'm insane with this one, but I'm not attracted to asian women either. I can go through brief periods of finding them attractive. Like for a few weeks at a time. But for the rest of the time they just don't do anything for me at all. Again, I'm at a loss as to why.

I think being racially mixed gives me a different perspective. I obviously grew up with an extremely diverse family (I'm Black, Spanish, and Japanese) so I'm quite accustomed to seeing various racial groups together. I'm pretty much able to see beauty within all races, I personally don't understand how one couldn't, restricting yourself to a handful of races always came off as a bit ignorant to me.

I'm not sure. On the whole I find less of them attractive, but that probably has something to do with me being a somewhat effeminate white guy. Black girls may be interested in white guys, but in my experience they are downright repulsed by the less macho of that group.

Maybe I'm totally off-base, but I have never met a black girl who would be into my idea of a good time. It's all about being out at the clubs and the like, while I'd sooner stab myself in the eye then go to your typical club scene.

I will say that the personalities I tend to see have more to do with this than looks. She was beautiful till she opened her mouth and all that.

It is complex.. true. I might almost think that a woman in China WOULD prefer a white man... (I'm not simply talking about Asian immigrants to multicultural countries... certainly Korean and Japanese women have a history of loving white men, in their own countries) but then again I cant tell if that's true without firsthand knowledge, and whether or not it can be explained by other hidden cultural factors like the east asian preference for light skin based upon ancient social factors, or whether it has to do with Hollywood, or 19th century European colonialism, etc.

I do think demography has a powerful effect... but I also think there is a strong possibility that certain ethnicities tend to simply have biological factors which either sex trends toward seeing as attractive in a mate.

I'm a white male with a preference for asian girls... and armchair sociologists are always trying to explain this away as some sort of fetish based on stereotypes of submissiveness. It's always media, culture, bias, social factors etc. etc. etc.

I personally think I find their smaller bodies, nice skin and pretty eyes to just "look feminine" and it just looks good to me. Demographics and social conditioning seems to have little to do with it. That "race" simply produces fine examples of feminine features that I respond to as a guy, visually, and I don't think my upper brain concept of asian girls has much to do with it.

But who knows.

I don't really agree with that though. If we're talking sheer numbers as you initially brought up, it's a matter of a some and not most in Asian countries. You are trying to make it seem as if all Asian women are genetically predisposed to liking white men, as is the opposite, and I feel that is a fundamentally flawed premise. Demographics and culture are far more logical and explain the phenomena more accurately than the implication that there is a genetic predisposition to favoring one race over another.

I'm a white male too and I don't view Asian women as more feminine than any other type of woman. In general, I tend to view women with curvy figures as more "feminine" and Asian women don't necessarily have curvy figures. Some do, but most don't. I live in a city that is majority Asian so it's not a matter of lack of exposure either. I think you just like Asian women. Which is okay but don't try to make it something it isn't by using pseudo-science.

I'm mostly just presenting an alternative to all the pseudo-sociology that these threads deal in (I say that jokingly... all sociology is pretty wildly speculative guessing).

Everyone seems to have a social theory behind why people choose certain types of mates more than others... I'm pretty much just saying: maybe these mates are chosen because their partners just happen to think they look good, and it's not that they are associated with social connotations of status, submissiveness, intelligence, foreigness, etc. etc. If Im saying it`s not social, then that implies its biological, but Im not making a scientific claim so much as musing on the possibility.
