I dont know about black female/white male couples, but in the related issue of asian female/white male couples, I live in Vancouver (a.k.a. Hongkouver, asian immigration capital). Asian female/white male combinations outnumber white female/asian male combinations 100:1.

Sometimes demographics cant explain away obvious race preferences for males or females.

That doesn't disprove what I'm saying though. Demographics are a huge factor in predicting interracial dating. The other one, which I glossed over for the sake of brevity, is cultural and it's fairly complex because it's so nuanced. I don't think I fully understand it but I have some ideas on it. For example with interracial dating, a female has to accept the males culture before she will consider dating him. Maybe white women aren't as accepting of Asian culture as Asian women are of white culture. I know this will come off as very non-PC and ruffle some feathers but most of the Asian men who do date white women are very "white," and aren't as culturally Asian as their visible ethnicity would imply. I don't feel it is accurate to say that Asian women in general prefer white males because, while I've heard some Asian women say they will only date white men, it is not as if an Asian woman living in China would automatically prefer a white male simply because he is a white male. It's more complex than that.

I'm a white guy who generally prefers white girls, but there are exceptions to every ethnicity. There have been plenty of black girls, Hispanic girls, Asian girls, whatever, that I thought were attractive. If I see a hot girl, I see a hot girl. I believe he was saying we are socialized by culture to think one race or another is attractive.

I was saying possibly, there are biological differences between races, and various males and females find them attractive for other biological "mate selection" reasons. (in the case of women's selection of men, that would mean muscular composition, masculine emotions.. or bigger dongs :lol ).

Thinking that all concepts of race difference are a result of social upbringing could actually be social upbringing itself. We are encouraged by humanism to think of all differences between races (and for that matter, sexes) as the result of socialization, when there could actually be some physical differences that lend themselves to being thought of as more or less attractive by either gender.

Average white male here, outside of celebrities (Beyonce, drooooool), it is very rare to find a black girl I am attracted to, in person. Most people think just b/c I like games/anime and took some Japanese courses in college, I have an Asian fetish going on, but I don't have any more preference.... I tend to mostly go for light skin, fair hair white girls, especially Eastern Europeans. Usually end up dating Italian and Irish girls, since that's like 90% of the population here.

I chose that picture because it had more of an emphasis on her face than her tits, like most her other shots. I think she has a beautiful face, absolutely gorgeous.

I would tend to agree I don't necessarily like black women's faces as much... but I prefer mixed women, who seem to nine times out of ten inherit the best of both their races, and have gorgeous features. If you don't feel that way, then I pity you You're missing on some beautiful freakin' women.

But it kind of bugs me that mixed women are generalized as black. More often than not, they don't really look black.

Honestly, I think it has more to with black women not liking white men, at least in the US. Almost every black woman I've ever spoke to about the issue say they would never date a white man. On the other hand I don't have any white friends that would fuck a hot black girl. I don't think it's a physical thing though, its more of a cultural thing. The 'black' and 'white' concepts of manliness are completely different and sadly there is some prejudice involved too. It's easier for a black guy to fuck a white girl because even if she is prejudice she's probably gonna think the guy is dangerous and for allot of girl's that's actually gonna help his chances(I've had first hand experience with this lol). It's much harder for a guy to get a girl if she's predisposed to thinking that he's weak or corny which unfortunately is a prejudice allot of black women have about white men. Whenever I see a white guy with a black girl I always think to myself "That guy must be pretty awesome" lol.

It is complex.. true. I might almost think that a woman in China WOULD prefer a white man... (I'm not simply talking about Asian immigrants to multicultural countries... certainly Korean and Japanese women have a history of loving white men, in their own countries) but then again I cant tell if that's true without firsthand knowledge, and whether or not it can be explained by other hidden cultural factors like the east asian preference for light skin based upon ancient social factors, or whether it has to do with Hollywood, or 19th century European colonialism, etc.

I do think demography has a powerful effect... but I also think there is a strong possibility that certain ethnicities tend to simply have biological factors which either sex trends toward seeing as attractive in a mate.

I'm a white male with a preference for asian girls... and armchair sociologists are always trying to explain this away as some sort of fetish based on stereotypes of submissiveness. It's always media, culture, bias, social factors etc. etc. etc.

I personally think I find their smaller bodies, nice skin and pretty eyes to just "look feminine" and it just looks good to me. Demographics and social conditioning seems to have little to do with it. That "race" simply produces fine examples of feminine features that I respond to as a guy, visually, and I don't think my upper brain concept of asian girls has much to do with it.

But who knows.

For me, it totally depends on the woman. I'm not attracted to most black women, but then again, I'm not attracted to most "white" women, or most asian women or whatever, either.

There are some I find incredibly attractive though.

I don't have a "type" either. Some of the attractive black women I see are light-skinned, some (one in particular, an African student friend) are probably as dark-skinned as you can get. Sometimes that really, really black look is amazing. Same thing with the bone structure/build/whatever (although I like taller, thinner girls as a general, almost-universal rule, though there are exceptions.)

It's more of a sense of style, and/or a sense of one's charisma and confidence meeting one's particular looks that's sexy to me. Then you talk to them and decide whether they're really worth the effort... That's pretty much how I look at all women, of all races.

I used to like white girls when I was really young but as I grew older, I kinda got away from that. It happened kind of naturally I guess, but my grandmother and family were the type to stop church right in the middle of service if someone were to walk in with a white woman :lol

So, during high school I was into black girls and that was pretty much it. But its funny... I now attend college at a black university and black women aren't nearly as attractive to me as they used to be.
