As for a game that no one would argue with... that is nigh impossable to happen. No one is unanimous in one thing. There will always be a different view.

I'd go for Tetris as being the closest thing (Maybe it's more contempoary descendant Lumines could also fit here...) to a game that no one could dispute. Even that has already been proven wrong though, so as I said, Closest thing.

It's easier to ask this question in regards to the aspects of games like...

"Is ICO one of the most artistically beautiful games ever created?"

Or

"Super Mario Brothers 3 is the best platformer on the NES."

Sure, even these are disputable...
