I was wondering what will happen if someone had "L’Origine du monde" from Gustave Courbet as an avatar?
Should he become banned. I recall that this is art and not pornography.

What is being depicted in that is against the TOS, yes. It would be removed/you could get banned, depending on who sees it and when.

May as well ask this here. How do I get an avatar that changes every time like Red Scarlet's?
I was planning on hosting the pictures on my own server if that makes any difference.

I used a rotating script posted http://m2k2.taigaforum.com/post/random_avatar.htmlhere. It's older than the improved one other users use that makes each post have a different avatar instead of mine which has 1 avatar per page.

Do I get a chance to redeem myself?

Depends on who sees it, I doubt I'd be the only person doing anything with avatars once I start.

Nope. Way too big a filesize.

I scaled it down a bit, but had to lose a lot of frames, which sped it up. But I inserted a lapse time between frames to slow it down. Unfortumately, it doesn't run smooth any more. But here it is anyway.



Also, rehost it, I'll remove it from my photobucket at some point.

Easy dimension guide to go by when you're making your avatars. Never have the width smaller than 90 pixels and the height never larger than 120 pixels. To get the most out of your allowed space (90x120) versus the viewing distance of your avatars, you should really only push for three sizes.

90x30 (Widescreen)

90x90 (Square)

90x120 (Correct)

Things get wonky/ugly when you work outside those constraints.

Of course, the 150kb rule always applies. ^_^
