Thanks for the video DaddyZ-- some incredible stuff on there.

CHeck the move he puts on Tinsley at 2:07. :lol He sets him up with a nice behind-the-back slip and then loses him on the spin to get into the lane. Wicked. :)

And who's the guy he crossed the shit out of at the top of the key at 2:19? :lol

Yeah, it was a nice move. Jordan used to use footwork like that all the time to easily shake defenders who were off-balance to begin with since they were running at him/coming from a certain direction trying to establish position. All Wade did was catch the ball and give the slightest of jukes towards the lane and then take one dribble left for the J. Textbook move, but very effective. You don't see many players make subtle offensive moves like that-- he's an extremely talented offensive player; I'm still in awe of that move on Tinsley. :D

Oh well, the Lakers should handle Houston at Staples. No bruisers in to bully Mihm and Odom and no good PGs to rape Tierrible and Sucky :D

Watch them pull out Mutumbo. The SKY HOOKS STILL WORks!!!

LeBron loves his girlfriend. There is no other woman in the world he’d rather have. The problem is, Dwyane’s not a woman.

Kobe will be on Larry King tonight if anyone cares. Enough with the interviews, IMO. Just give it up. Geez, how about watching some game tape and seeing how your team can play better defense...

It's not going to be an interview from what I hear-- they're gonna play a one-on-one to 11. I predict Kobe will win, but not before King forces him into 6 turnovers. BWAHAHAHA!!! :D

PORTLAND, Ore. - Kobe Bryant is no longer a fashion icon. For the last month, Bryant's No. 8 Lakers jersey — previously one of the best sellers in the world — has fallen out of the top 50, according to point-of-sale data tabulated by a Florida market research firm.

Bryant's NBA jersey was still the 10th-highest selling jersey for the year, but he finished the month of December at No. 72 — and in one week plunged to No. 90, a drastic slide for the player many once saw as the sport's next marketing golden boy.

Wow, anyone else watching Wiz/Sonics? Why can't the Lakers switch off everthing and talk on defense like the Wiz? Fuck the stupid, LAZY 2-3 zone!!! I love the effort these guys are showing on D....

Very interesting game between the Spurs and Pacers. I was ready to say that Amare Stoudemire joined Duncan and Garnett as the elite PF in the league, but then Jermaine dropped 55. He definetly thinks he belongs with the other two (and I agree with him) and is looking to show it tonight.

I like how the Pacers are staying in MAN. No lazy defense and if guys don't wanna look stupid, they'll keep their man in front of them!!! I can't believe Rudy didn't adjust at all and kept playing zone. DAMMIT!!!!!!!!

PS: Go Pacers!!! Since Detroit looks like a fraud, they are the only hope to stop the Heat :D

I don't believe this news. This is an obvious attempt by a Shaq-loving market research firm (the study was probably commissioned by the fat one himself) to further trash Kobe's name.

Why must Kobe copy everything Jordan does? :D

Worst part about the Jordan pic is that those were the "short shorts" days. You get the whole Jordan Jungle in your mouth :S

Great win. The Spurs Three put away the Pacers combining for 71 points. Both teams shot over 50%

Which is amazing with the way SA plays D.
Are we getting soft Pop?

Anyone knows what the NBA record for point differential is? Because I'm wondering if the Spurs have a chance of breaking it with the way they're playing right now.

I believe it was something like 12.3 points set by the Bulls if I remember correctly. I'm sure Loki can correct or confirm this :)

Yup, the 12.3 point differential set by the Bulls is the record as far as I know. :)

The Top 10 NBA jerseys in terms of units sold for the month ending Dec. 26, according to SportsScanINFO, a Palm Beach, Fla.-based market research firm:

1. Carmelo Anthony, light blue swing jersey

2. LeBron James, high school jersey

3. Carmelo Anthony, rewind jersey

4. Tracy McGrady, swingman jersey

5. LeBron James, swing jersey

6. Denver Nuggets (news), Carmelo Anthony blue road jersey

7. Cleveland Cavaliers (news), LeBron James jersey

8. Philadelphia 76ers (news), Allen Iverson white jersey

9. Michael Jordan, rookie swing jersey

10. Carmelo Anthony, gold high school jersey

Michael Jordan on the list, yet no Kobe :lol :lol

"It was an interesting thing hearing some of the TV commentators saying (Duncan) had been held to this many and that many," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. "I held him. Nobody else did.

"Tonight he played a full game, and he hasn't done that too often.
So true. Fucking ESPN always trying to rag on the Spurs ran their BS on the ticker all the time saying Duncan has been held to less than 20 points in 7 out of the last 8 games, bla, blah, blah. Stupid fuckers, all of them, especially the shootaround crew. Watch some Spurs games, learn about real team basketball.

After Parker failed to get to Miller before he drilled a 3-pointer, Popovich screamed, "In case you didn't know, Tony, that's Reggie Miller!"
:lol

TP still getting owned by Pop.

Hmm the TNT guys were talking about that and I think they said the Lakers or someone else had a higher diff than the Bulls.

I don't think it is possible to play man defense in the NBA against any good offensive team. They would pick and roll you off the court. Besides that is the Lakers problem this year, they never play like a team, it is always 5 guys doing their own thing. I still don't know if that is Kobe's fault or Rudy's (never been known for his mastery of Xs and Os). The Lakers need to play together on defense, but right now we have so many damn bums on our team with no heart who don't play for 48 minutes and can't finish games. :(

Not that I can find-- the highest diff. for the 2000-2004 Lakers was around 8 points, iirc, and just to be sure, I checked every championship team since 1980 at basketball-reference.com.

EDIT: Just out of curiosity, since they were such a dominant team, I checked the stats for the 1972 Lakers. Apparently, their differential was 12.28 versus Chicago's 12.24 points, so I guess LA takes the crown for differential by four-hundredths of a point. :p :)
