January Wrasslin' |OT2| Stop watching this garbage and get HBO Go

As much as it sucks, this may be a blessing in disguise for WWE. A week off from TV might allow the writers to refocus and come up with a concise plan to fix the issues the company has with their fanbase. I don't think they need to rear up and throw Daniel Bryan into the title picture but SOMETHING has to be done.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
I feel horrible for Vince's writing staff. Imagine the freaking out he is doing right now.

I'm actually more upset at the decision in kayfabe. Roman was practically invisible for most of his time in the rumble. How am I supposed to believe he has any chance against the god king Brock? Especially when I just watched Brock easily beat down two people for 15 minutes and then win a match with broken ribs? A Reigns match with Brock is going to be so bad. He's gotta take a Cena-at-Summerslam level beat down, but he doesn't have the decade of super human booking to make a come back look good.

So I was watching that infamous CHW Stairway to Heaven backstage wrestling train wreck and my co-worker asked me if I was watching gay porn, because that's what it sounded like.

And good god, now I'm just pissing myself laughing at everything coming out of these guys mouths. 'Get up in there!' 'Do it faster!' 'Start your engines!'.

He got gassed pretty quickly.

Brock Lesnar, a guy who Cena had to team up with a heel to have any chance of beating. Who Cena FAILED to beat. A guy who beats teams of three single handedly every other week had to team up with Rollins to stand a chance.

And failed.

Um, did you see how quickly he was able to eliminate "The Big Deal" Titus O'Neil?

love on your sleeve
This is actually pretty easy.
Rollins cash in and win, Shield 3 way at Mania
Brock vs Bryan
Cena vs Rusev
done

You know what's even easier? Bury Brock/Reigns in the midcard with muted crowd noise and close the show with HHH/Sting.

Hire me, Vince.

Brought it on their untalented selves, no sympy from me.

Brought it on themselves? Are you insinuating that everything they do isn't run through the mind of a senile old man who then changes everything at the drop of a hat? The writers didn't book that Rumble last night. Vince did. Writers don't book shit like that.

The last two years, the day after the rumble has been so completely insane.

Watch, we will start hearing rumblings that DB has left the company just like punk did.

I know Vince has the final say and all but the writing has been shit for years, it can't all be because of him. They need to slim down regardless.

The thing that irks me about last night isn't that D. Brine didn't win, it's that I don't really feel any sort of way about the guy who did.

There's been no struggle for Reigns to work his way to the top, he was just a part of the Shield and then running errant ever since. At least when Cena won a couple of years back I could feel salty about it, Reigns winning just leaves me lost as to how I'm supposed to get invested in WrestleMania.

Tomodachi wa Mahou
Because he totally told the WWE not to use him and keep paying him, and they were like, sure we don't take orders from you, but here's your money!

Nobody forced him to stay there and take those paychecks if he wasn't happy with how he was being used. JTG should be like the last guy to have any kind of gripes with the company.

What really gets me is that they want Reigns to take on Lesnar, yet book Lesnar in a way that makes him look like a total face. Fearlessly attacking Rollins, Show, and Kane, and then dominating them both, with Cena looking like a giant chump, despite not getting pinned.

Even if we have poor Raw crowds that support Reigns, or even if the heat dies down, how do you possibly expect the Wrestlemania crowd to cheer Reigns over Lesnar?

I don't feel like anyone came out of the Rumble match looking strong, and I don't think any stories were advanced apart from Miz getting more mad at Mizdow and Adam Rose getting more mad at the Rosebuds.

Bray Wyatt got a modicum of heat back. It was nice to see.
