I wouldn't guarantee that the Club Nintendo replacement will be better. Outside of actually making video games, Nintendo is extremely fucking hit or miss with their ideas.

I'd like to think anything is better than the NoE stars catalogue surveys that makes the whole thing a chore to bother with, so of course this probably means the replacement will have double the amount of those to slog through to get the mediocre goods.
Low expectations is the way towards pleasant surprise or expected disappointment, it's just like following WWE.
