Yes. They are, but the only thing I'm missing are the menacing symbols showing up when the situation gets tense. I really liked that a lot in the part 3 anime.
Shit hasn't gotten even close menacing enough.

They had one when the possessed dude told Josuke his hair was stupid
iirc, they didn't really do much beyond the hidden space but even that has a plot hole since there's no time for him to get in there when the explosion happens. also, even if he did hide there, nothing was stopping him from killing Erina since, even as just a head, he'd have enough power to kill her.
time stopping wouldn't fit here since Dio doesn't get that power until 100 years later.
i guess adhering to the manga too much killed chances of them changing that detail. they could have bad Erina escape in something else like a box or something but they'd have needed to change a lot and probably was too much trouble.

Given how she quickly paused at his package when looking Jotaro up and down, I think Josuke's mom would be all for that too.
Jotaro doesn't like high pitch women who obsess over him or are yelling. Even after mellowing out over the years, THAT quirk hasn't gone a way.

Reading that David Pro is fixing continuity errors in the anime is pretty amazing

The Battle Tendency ending animation has a number of little things, like Hermit Purple vines, and Jotaro's weird hand designs from his hat in Part 3, plus some other symbols for parts 4-7.
Honestly I would just go ahead and read the manga. Jojo is one of those series that knowing what happens doesn't spoil the fun (in fact it enhances it).
It really is. David Pro gives so many little nods here and there; it's a treat to see what they're doing.

DIU has been great so far. Maybe it's been a while, but I think these first three episodes have been more entertaining than most of the beginning episodes of Stardust Crusaders.
The Hand is stupidly OP. Is Okuyasu immune from its effects? I don't think I would have the courage to test it out on myself if I was him.

Almost every part has some weird consistent design quirk.
Part 3 had the stupid shoulder pads and now Part 4 has the two spikey hair ends. Wait until you see man-boob windows and sameface

Yes it is, you have no idea how it is to see all the hints, continuity fixes, and foreshadowing. It's delicious.
It was the hand's power, it was just animated in a way that it made it look like it wasn't. One of those scenes in anime where time "freezes" until the exposition is given.
That was in the manga already though.
And Dio's ear moles showed up a lot more frequently than they did in the manga.
Yeah, it was a very funny moment in the manga, it just comes out of nowhere, here the long animation part just makes it dull.

After watching last week's ending and today's side to side I came to the conclusion that last week the ending animation was just outright unfinished lol

in part 2 they updated the ending almost after every other episode, they would just be full of spoilers otherwise.

I'm not even talking about adding or removing characters. They added a store where they had left only black before, changed the timing and spacing of the characters appearing, changed blocks' layouts by switching around buildings, added visual effects, added trees, added lamps, fixed animation errors...it's nothing about spoilers or like the Roundabout endings.
