Yeah. One thing I liked about the GoT threads is people that kept on spoiling so openly would get banned.

Its fine. I can sleep peacefully now(well until next ep.) Is there no dedicated mod in here? I didnt even know there was a manga thread since i barely check ot.

Look, I'm sorry for what I did but I honestly thought I wasn't spoiling anything since I thought I was being very vague.

I apologize if I appeared disrespectful. I get carried because I like talking about how authors like Araki work. I'll try to be more considerate in the future.

I think the explanation (if there is one) is that they're pushing off the ground with their super powerful stands and that sends them flying through the air and they just take a while to come down and....

Nah fuck it, DBZ sounds more accurate.

Author's notes:

The "lion" in the title"Jojolion" means things like "blessed thing", "evangelistic", and "commemorative seal". It's a word from ancient Greek or something like that. By combining this word with "Jojo", I've meant for the title to signify the existence of the protagonist "Josuke" in this world. It's also used in the name of the tragic king in a Greek myth called "Pygmalion" as well as the Japanese animation "Evangelion", but I'm not sure if it has to do with the same idea.

I feel like people are going to be disappointed by Killer Queen's ability. I mean, it's pretty cool, but very simple by JoJo standards.

Killer Queen's simple ability is what makes Kira so great. Dio was a guy drunk on his power, Kira is an efficient and ruthless user of his stand.

We could PM EmCeeGramr about spoilers, he's the most visible mod we've got.

It would be a shame though since he's had to tell people to knock it off already.

King Crimson is mostly because of how terrible the old translation was.

e.g., the old translator couldn't understand the sentences in the explanation box for King Crimson, so he replaced all of it with "it just works".

Duwang is way better than Vento Aureo's translation. The Duwang translator put in a lot of effort to get things right, the only problem was that he was bad at English. Even with the bad English, you can figure out what's going on and the character's personalities.

The Chinese and English translators for Vento Aureo put in zero effort to get it right. The good English fools people, but Vento Aureo is legit one of the worst translations ever made.

Hopefully we don't have to worry about spoilers with Vento Aureo because it's the best and nobody would intentionally ruin it.

I mean, besides bad translation jokes that I'm apparently fortunate enough to have avoided. I can't believe it was that bad.

Using "Josuke" is kind of confusing in English, I usually use "Jo2uke".

Calling him "Josefumi" would go against his character arc, it's wrong.
