For From a Certain Point of View — Del Rey's upcoming collection of Star Wars stories about Star Wars: Episode IV — the publisher has enlisted the talents of Mad Men's Jon Hamm, Star Wars Battlefront 2's Janina Gavankar and American treasure Neil Patrick Harris to help. From a Certain Point of View collects 40 stories in total, each written by a different author about a character from the movie. (Disclaimer: Polygon's Griffin McElroy contributed a story to the collection, for which he was not paid.)

If we hadn't had Temuera Morrison in the prequels, I'd have been way fine with a grizzled, Baby-Driver-esque Jon Hamm in the Mandalorian armor. (Weirdly enough I kind of liked those Michael B Jordan rumors from way back when, too. Even though they made little sense)

I'm pretty excited about this book. 40 authors, 40 stories. Kieron Gillen, Paul Dini, Griffin McElroy, bunch of others. Check out the #FromACertainPOV hashtag on twitter to see a card like this for each story.

Oh man, that'd be rad. Most of these seemed themed to episode 4 (Though Lando seems an outlier, but maybe it's about what he was up to at that time), but I'd bet a hundred bucks that if they did a ROTJ compilation, there'd be a salacious crumb story.

Not in this... it's all stories that are concurrent with ep4 as I understand it.

Also, everybody knows that Boba simply flies back out of the Sarlacc pit immediately after the rebels leave. (I don't care what Aftermath implies!)
