In a sign of how hard the company is working to sign up new subscribers, the WWE announced Monday it will once again offer a one-week free trial to anyone who wants it.

The offer, which doesn't even require people to provide a credit card number, is one of several recent indicators that the company isn't getting much closer to the 1.4 million global subscribers it needs to make the WWE Network profitable.

Should've just provided free PPVs. Think they thought getting to see older shows was a bigger draw than it actually is. Hopefully it gets more popular overseas.

Bad execution period. They put out the network at the most awkward time without no strong marketing compared to 2012. It's a good service but bad timing.

People forget that when Netflix streaming began, they gave the streaming service away for free to the millions and millions of DVD-through-the-mail service subscribers they already had.

When you go 1-on-1 with another wrestler you got a 50% chance of winning. But Cena is the ultimate underdog and he's not normal. So when you go 1-on-1 with him you have a 15% chance of winning plus an additional 1% chance of beating him clean. So therefore you have a 0.15% chance of beating Cena clean 1-on-1.
