so this but in 30fps instead of 5fps

It's going to be Stingdow's debut tonight.

I wonder if that guy that wore Sting makeup at the Raw after Mania will be in attendance tonight.

Was not having an in-ring referee character model in the AKI games a stylistic choice or a necessary cut based on hardware limitations?
I'm gonna go with hardware. Revenge had that little picture pop up and that game barely had any features, while the more advanced wwf games just had the voice for counts.

I thought it's the same 7th or 6th gen engine?

I can't wait for one of the wrestlers to glitches out and the commentators try to save it with "look how realistic it is Maggle! He's waiting for his opponent!"

I highly doubt Visual Concepts is going to let them release a buggy piece of crap again. We already know they scanned every wrestler this year in the 2K studios, so models should be much improved. They've also stated 5 times the amount of animations from 2k14 and improved commentary(they actually filmed Lawler and Cole together this year in a studio).

Look forward to Lawler and Cole talking about anything but the action in ring. VC going for accuracy.

Hardware. Back in those days, you couldn't have more than four characters on the screen at once, so having a ref would have eliminated tag matches or the ref has to magically disappear for tag matches.

Fuckin' Steve Borden. I was meant to see Sting at a RevPro show a few months back, but instead we got used car salesman Steve Borden cutting the most uninspiring minute-long promo before fucking off back home.

When man's heart is full of deciet...
It burns up, dies...
And a dark shadows falls over his soul...
From the ashes of a once great man, has risen a curse...
A wrong that must be righted...
We look to the skies for a vindicator, someone to strike fear into the black hearts
of the sane man who created him... The battle between good, and evil has begun...
Against an army of shadows, lies the dark warrior...
The prevailer of good...
With a voice of silence...
And a mission of justice...
This is..........

BRRRRRR APPLE DOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!

When you think about it, there really isn't any gameplay benefit from having a ref in the ring. You get to do ref bumps and other ref based spots I guess but to me, having a ref in the ring is more of a hindrance to the game.

Segment ends with Cena holding up Sting's arm by his wrist.

Fire Pro managed to avoid this by having a create a ref feature, where you could set how fast he/she counted pins and count outs, or how sensitive they were to dqs. Shit was the bomb.

Has a black ref ever officiated a Rusev match?

No in the referee selection for Rusev matches Lana has successfully argued that a black referee would show an unfair cultural bias in his decision making this is why it is so crucial to get a manager and i think a lot of stars these days don't get that
