The plan right now is to make AJ Lee one of the featured stars of the company – as a completely different but modern day version of a Sable or Miss Elizabeth.

So no de-push after the current storyline ends.

Or might we see her turn in favor of Bryan. Thus making SummerSlam's WWE Title match Bryan (C) vs. Punk vs. Cena.

I thought it was obvious she was turning into modern Ms. Elizabeth, that's why the rubber match to Bryan vs Punk will be beard vs beard to see who can take over the madness.

As long as she doesn't overshadow the WWE title, I'm ok with this. It's not often women get a legitimate big push (not "big for the Divas division")

AJ is better than Ms. Elizabeth and I don't want her to just be another valet (for Bryan or Punk). Continuing with a storyline where she stays independent and still has a major impact would be the best route to go. It's clear that she's going to be involved in the WWE title picture for SS.

I just hope Bryan is also involved. I don't want his WWE title chase to end at MITB (assuming he doesn't win).

They're actually trying to say her role will be sort of like Elizabeth's was, but of course more contemporary.

The comment sounds terrible, so hopefully it's untrue.

Sable was queen of the WWF because she had big knockers and undressed.

Miss Elizabeth was because she was the silent, but noble woman for a great World Champion. She didn't make Macho Man look like a complete goofball chump on TV. Although, that's how it's modernized, I guess. Make everybody look weak 'cept Cener.

She hasn't made either Bryan or Punk look weaker, but she is clearly smarter than the two of them put together.

I have zero issues with her one-upping them intellectually, it's a very different dynamic from the usual manipulative bastard. Generally when you have a smart villain (Dibiase, Flair, Poffo, Jericho, McMahon etc.) the big dumbass hero (Hogan, Cena, Rock etc.) can just come around and clobber him, to the point that it's been done to death (I think roughly 95% of Cena's feuds can be summed up like that).
I really don't understand what's wrong with having her be smarter than everyone else, while still having immunity from being KO'd (by a man) for it.
