So Daniel Bryan looks like utter shit. For better or worse, what he used to look like was a wrestler, but now, he really does just look like any old schlub at the farmer's market.

Is Daniel Bryan's one of the sadder falls from grace in wrestling history? It took only a year for him to go from the top of the world to probable retirement and ignominy as a "former wrestler".

You ask that in an industry that includes Chris Benoit?

Does Bryan really look bad?

Am I missing something?

It wasn't very long ago the Nexus happened. Compare how that Bryan looked with that picture and you'll swear you're looking at 2 different people. Dude had 2 major career-stopping (and probably ending) injuries, and still looks worse than Edge who was in the same boat.

If Vince booked this UFC main event, the hometown hero would lose because losing in front of your hometown is a great rib that tickles Vince's fancy and a way to remind your Superstars to pay their dues and recognize who has the power.

If Vince was booking the co-main event, those two guys would have smashed each others faces in and not have a scratch to show for it.

Bryan isn't a touchy guy, that's probably why he does the hover hand. Would you want to touch wrestling fans at a convention?

I started plowing through the Raw episodes after Mania 14 and they have the weirdest roster that's half attitude era and half "holy shit that guy was on TV in 98?"

Really great main event stuff and a passable upper midcard but everything else is a dumpster fire.

ULTRAVIOLENT MONTH LIVES

According to Pwinsider.com, CZW signed a deal today that will see the promotion run live PPV events on traditional PPV outlets. Steve Karel of Stonecutter Wrestling (Urban Wrestling Federation and other taped PPV wrestling shows) was at today’s CZW event to finalize the deal with CZW owner DJ Hyde. Stonecutter will be producing and distributing the events. The deal has reportedly been in the works for some time, and more details are expected this week.

Rhaknar

The Steam equivalent of the drunk friend who keeps offering to pay your tab all night.
He's trying to keep the sinking ship NOAH afloat.

And someone had to sit out so they could book Michael Elgin, Matt Taven, and Michael Bennett.

so the entire stable went to NOAH?

I dont understand how japanese wrestling federations work :(

The NOAH situation is weird as New Japan's owners Bushiroad have reportedly purchased a stake in NOAH (but they aren't publicly admitting to doing so) and Jado is booking the promotion. Suzuki-gun were 'loaned' to NOAH for a year to try and help boost their attendances, similar to how Nagata & Kojima spent quite a bit of time in NOAH last year.

Look, it can be dangerous for a submission wrestler like D. Brine to actually put a hand on a person, OK? Like completely by accident you're cinching in a deltoid nerve pinch. He's just being careful.

Aiii

So not worth it
When women's football is more popular than you so that you have to leech off of it for mainstream attention, you're in trouble. RIP in peace WWE.
