Yeah, maybe Hogan got just like a racist flu or something and it got out of his system by the next day!

It's just inconceivable to me Hogan going around thinking...

"So what we got for Make A Wish Today?
5 white kids and 1 black kid? Hmm. Oh well, guess everyday can't be perfect brother."

But even if the racist only comes out when he's pissed, it doesn't mean it's right.

I don't know if hating people for what they do isn't enough and you gotta add the racist shit on top to make that much worse.

My favourite thing about Nashvember is that everyone runs out of Nash-related things to talk about well before the month is over. Kinda surprising for a man with such a storied career and so many classic matches to his name.

I'd say its a safe wager to say most of us haven't said anything nearly as bad as what Hogan said, but yeah, if stuff we said in private got leaked out publicly we'd probably get in trouble too. I dunno, everything about all of this Hogan shit makes me uncomfortable as fuck.

#AllShitEverything

I remember when I was younger I honestly thought that stories of racism were things that just happened by idiots in the south and in the past. 4 of my best friends growing up were Black, Puerto Rican, Sri Lankan, and Asian. The idea that somebody would judge or treat them differently than somebody white like me just never crossed my mind.

Then as I got older the reality of how cruel society can be became more apparent and its both depressing and infuriating on how much beliefs like that infiltrate life.

I grew up in a community that was 95% Hispanic. There was no black people in my school. None. Hell, we made fun of white people (gringos).

I'm trying to think of when my knowledge of racism came to be. I think simply from learning slavery in history class, and civil rights. But like real world scenarios? I'm not sure.

In yet another bombshell to rock the shamed wrestling legend, RadarOnline.com and The National ENQUIRER –– as part of our joint investigation –– can reveal actor/singer Foxx, 47, was ALSO the subject of Hogan’s vulgar and prejudiced hatred.

In the audio, captured on an XXX tape, Hogan bemoaned to a sex partner how a “billionaire black guy” who had funded his daughter Brooke’s fledgling music career secretly recruited Foxx to appear on one of her tracks.

“Fucking n*gger… he had Jamie Foxx coming in on the 22nd track,” Hogan brazenly raved, according to a transcript of the expletive laden conversation provided to Radar.

“I didn’t even tell Brooke about it. F*ck her. Brooke and (name withheld by Radar andThe ENQUIRER) met in Miami.

“Brooke f*cks up a ten million dollar deal I had with the Saudis. Brooke says, ‘F*ck you dad.’ She’s never said that. She flipped a bird at me.”

According to sources, on the transcript filed under seal in a Florida court, it cannot be determined if Hogan was referring to Foxx as a “n*gger” or the mysterious “black billionaire guy.”

Thereafter, Hogan goes onto lament: “I have this huge f*cking house in Miami. My family never comes home. They went to LA. F*ck ’em.”

The deal with the Saudis

Also *says n-word 500 times, wonders why family won't come home to see him*

That's the charm of it. You've got:

How Big he is
How Sexy he is
How he only has five moves, including the hair flip.
How awful his WWF title reign is.
How he killed WCW
His amazing X division run
His commentary stints
How he "ruined" CM Punks push.

and then a bunch of 2 Sweet jokes

We can get about 2 days worth of discussion on the hair flip. I daresay Nash is the only person who can manage that particular brand of discussion.

Nash has had some good matches though. I remember Daddy West talking about an exceptional one with him as Diesel. Well, pretty much the best possible match he COULD have.

Vince McMahon (Sunny),

I will say this once because I have seen some of what you say about me quoted by other people. I am not and have never been racist. I don't appreciate you or anyone else accusing me of such, whether it's thinly veiled as you put it or not. I am also not a confederate flag supporter. I am from the south and have seen the other side of it, so I have presented that in some of the threads, but I have no dog in that fight.

Please stop trolling me. I am trying to fully ignore you but when I see you accuse me of such in a quoted post, I have to respond.

You are quite simply a troll of the worst kind. Please ignore me in the future as I attempt to ignore you.

The whole deal makes it seem like we are horrible people for supporting wrestling.

But if we really knew who are entertainers are, we'd watch nothing. And maybe we should watch nothing.

But nope. I'll be going to hell on my trash entertainment train. Music, Games, Movies, TV etc.

If you're trying to ignore me though I highly recommend using NeoGAF++, in the Chrome webstore, so you don't see me quoted. You mentioned you used it with your ignore list, but I don't think you have the settings on right if I'm on that ignore list you published here and you're still seeing me be quoted.

I've always been a champion of "use your ignore function" instead of catching feels over things, so I hope this is the last time we talk and can continue on our merry ways.

Get 'im, Kaladin.

Did Abra Cadaver ever commit to SummerSlam, NeoGAF Vince?

I'm sure he's down (and I picked up one of his shirts, it's great! Feels amazing) but it depends on scheduling anyway. We should find some place that's showing it and just hop in and have fun as opposed to going to someone's home and invading their lives.

Chyna did pornography, intended to be sold and fully paid for her performance.

Hogan had a sex tape distributed against his will, a gross violation of his privacy.

I am surprised at WWE's reaction to Hogan.

HHH went on record saying that if any of his kids' googled "Chyna" and saw the results that come up, he and the company would have a hard time coming p with an explanation for it. Yet in that same year, we know what Hogan did. Still, the WWE took no such action in response to his. Now the dude goes into a vile tirade and it's like "nnnno buddy, we have our standards. the 6 yr olds can take the best friend's wife thing, but profanity?"

They need to stick to a program and be consistent.

They are a corporation run by a near insane old man.

What do you expect?

I dunno, it's fine to me. It's on the innocent until proven guilty basis. It's okay to enjoy people and their work, but should it ever come out that they've done/said horrible things, then it's fair ground to judge fans of that person for continually enjoying that person's work and them as a person.

Being a Hogan fan BEFORE was fine. But if you still support him after this, then you're a horrible person. We all have our dirty laundry, obviously. I like you, but maybe if I knew some of the things you've done that are deemed horrible, then that'll probably turn me off of you as a person. So until then, you're a good guy and I have no reason to judge you otherwise.

Bleh. I dunno. This is all coming from an open Benoit fan and that guy killed a child :/

In happier news.

Happy Birthday to the King of Kings today! Turns 46!

He looks great for 46. I'll never forget how good Bryan vs Trips was. Probably his best work of his entire career. There's a lot to be said for being an old survivor. Savvy goes a long way.

The mental gymnastics required to find Gawker to be "the bigger piece of shit" is just astounding. Wrestling fans, man.

Wrestling fans always getting shitted on when it comes down to every misfortune in professional wrestling.

Yes we know the industry has a history of racism, sexism, and etc...but it's no different from the movie industry promoting violence, sex, and drug usage. The problem with the wrestling industry is the fact that it's always in the view of the WWE. You never hear about the progress in wrestling as a whole compared to the days of Akeem, Piper calling Snuka a savage, and other racist storylines.

It a shame, but it comes with the territory. I just wish people would look at the bigger picture and see that even their favorite sport has issues as well. Corruption, racism, and scandal will be a industry standard until humanity change as a whole.

Retro-NWO question:

I'm watching through 1996 WCW and just hit the Outsiders invading. At Great American Bash, Hall bashes "The Huckster" and then talks about them having a mystery partner at the next PPV. That seemed odd, considering Hogan joined them.

Was the original plan for the mystery partner to be someone other than Hogan? I remember reading Hogan almost backed out at the last minute, but didn't hear if they had anyone else in mind.

Hogan was the plan, Sting the backup.

I remember reading back in the day that Bischoff wanted Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels originally as the third person for the invasion angle, but that may have been BS. The timeline to when Bret signed the big deal with WWF in 1996 doesn't match the timeline for the NWO angle.

Right, but this is inclusive of the tirade that just came to light, no? Was it not recorded in privacy?
If he was fucking a child in the video you wouldn't use the same privacy defense. He can have his rights violated and still be a shitgead. He wasn't coerced in to saying it as far as we know. It's just a shitty situation where he is a victim of one crime, but that doesn't cancel out his actions.

What Hogan said was morally wrong. What Gawker did was morally wrong and illegal. People just get uncomfortable when there isn't a clear cut good side to support. This is a heel vs. heel feud so no one knows how to react.

I will say that I think wrestling is different because one man micromanages every bit of story and outcomes to every decision.

There are different heads of studios and things have changed with regards to who can be a lead in a film, who can direct, and even what the look of a leading star needs to be.

In wrestling we have had storylines that make fun of the handicapped, objectify women in horrible ways, force women to get implants before they can appear on tv, have Muhammad Hassan terrorist angle during the London Bombings, Katie Vick, Booker T's burial and there are loads more.

Those were all decisions that were okayed, directed, and signed off by the same man. At least with WCW when Bill Watts was outed for being a racist he was let go. In the WWE you don't have any change since the days of Akeem the Dream and using the Gulf War to sell Wrestlemania.
