Owens' reply to Joe's challenge was so awesome and dickish.
Instead, the competition is loaded with tall bodybuilders and bikini and fitness models, with a few football players and two MMA fighters, neither of whom have ever had a professional fight. We were told that WWE is right now looking for pretty women MMA fighters, which makes sense with the TapOut brand ownership and the popularity with sponsors right now of Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate and Paige VanZant.
I was told by someone affiliated with the project that they were looking for television characters picked for a reality show more than good wrestlers, but at the end of the day, two people are getting one year deals at $250,000. A lot of wrestlers were very unhappy with the lack of wrestlers being picked because tons of indie guys, including some with fairly good names and genuine ability, sent in applications.
Right there guarantees a problem because the winners will not only have a spotlight on them, but will have a hard time not being heavily resented by their co-workers. It may be a lot worse for the female winner, because she'll be making multiples of what all the women in NXT earn. The top NXT women have worked hard to up their games to the level they have. The male winner will also be making more than the rank-and-file guys, but also, unless the touring brand takes off and salaries increase greatly, he'd be making far more than even the guys like Finn Balor and Hideo Itami who were legitimate major league international superstars for years with a proven track record. Essentially, unless the male winner is a Lesnar monster that nobody would dare screw with or that they are greatly fear and respect, placing in the top five and getting a standard developmental contract may be better long-term than winning due to less resentment and less pressure from above to progress quickly.
It's a reiteration of a "reality" show that produced little in terms of success or entertainment. What were people expecting?Meltzer on tough enough

lol wow @ the sub reddit drama
Apparently one of the banned sub-reddits was a GAF shit sub-reddit
a show promoted by the New York Mets called Legends of Wrestling at Citifield. The stadium was empty. They used Matt Striker and Ashley Massaro to do live commentary for the crowd of the matches. Massaro had little to say and it kind of makes no sense to put someone to do commentary just because they are a pretty girl unless they can actually do commentary. Striker, for better or worse, is at least experienced at it and very smart on his feet. Striker claimed while doing commentary that there were 8,000 people there. It's pretty much impossible to estimate in a place that large but I've heard everything from just over 1,000 to maybe 4,500, but that there was no way there were anywhere near 8,000 there. Lots of the people also got in free because they were offering free tickets all over town. Halfway though the show, Massaro was replaced by whatever name you want to call George Murdoch (Tyrus in TNA). Former WCW & TNA ring announcer David Penzer handled the show. Goldberg, Ric Flair and Bret Hart were the big stars at the show. None of the three wrestled. Greg Valentine and John Cena Sr. worked as opposing managers in the opener and they piped in a "Let's Go Cena, Cena sucks." chant. Valentine was the babyface and put somebody in the figure four, although he was quite slow getting it on. Both Tommy Dreamer and Brian Myers worked in Mets outfits to make them faces. Flair did a promo about how great New York fans are, when Ken Anderson and Mike Knox, as Aces and 8s, came out. The Nasty Boys came out and cleaned house. This led to a tag match which saw Doc Gallows and Wes Brisco come out, also as members of Aces and 8s. Demolition ran in to make the save. Matt Sydal pinned Gallows. The main event saw Rob Van Dam pin Scott Steiner. Bret Hart was in RVD's corner. Even though this was a family crowd show, Steiner cut a promo on Hulk Hogan saying Hogan was a bitch for not accepting his $1 million challenge. After the match, Doc Gallows did a run-in and he and Steiner were beating up Van Dam, when Goldberg made the save, for his first pro wrestling action in a ring in years. Goldberg laid out Steiner with the spear and jackha
WWE pay structure is disgusting considering the work schedule.
Besides wouldn't wwe be better off getting some out of shape people for the show if its for entertainment?
The show is for vince to jerk off to the male body builders.

Just gonna link to the whole explanation: http://www.reddit.com/r/OutOfTheLoo..._was_rfatpeoplehate_along_with_several_other/
Originally five subreddits were banned, the most popular of which was r/fatpeoplehate. It was basically a sub dedicated to humiliating memes of obese people. All of the subs that were banned were considered subs that lent themselves to harassing behavior. Now a giant chunk of the community is pissed that a site largely enjoyed for its openness is now being language policed. Its the culmination of a worry people have had for a long time about teddits CEO. She made a statement a while ago about wanting to make reddit more if a safe space. Its been fun watching the front page just meltdown starting this afternoon.
Oh wow. One guy saying he's gay, and that Neofag is totally not offensive at all, and that Evilore raped someone and bragged about it, and that racists and homophobes run rampant on Gaf. Squared Circle ain't so bad. Also I'm now numb to the term "SJW".
Well that part isn't wrong

Yeah r/jailbait was closed up a while ago. I'm sure there are still subreddits that share childporn, they've just gotten better at hiding it. As is being seen today, when one community is shut down, several pop up in it's place. The openness of reddit can simultaneously be the best and worst part of it depending on whose hands it's in.Aren't there supposedly some sort of child porn subreddits out there? Or were they removed at some point?
I only see racists there that hate any wrestling that involves Asian people, especially women.Data if you haven't seen racists and/or homophobes on Neogaf may I direct you to this thread?
