Dixie is gonna be really upset when she finds out that Clubber Lang and Thunderlips aren't how you defeat Rocky.
So the big free agent was rampage Jackson
So he can join Pacman Jones, King Mo and I guess Bobby Lashley in the list of TNA MMA stars gone bust.
Pacman Jones was an MMA star?
Also, Frank Trigg.
Yeah, but hes a terrible father, employee and son-in-law.

Axel hitting his swinging neckbreaker onto the chair would've been a nice finisher to end the match had Ryback interfered a bit sooner. I don't get it. The constant countout/no decision results they've been booking on Axel is absurd. I hope for his sake they're going to pull out something remarkable for Payback, otherwise all these matches he's getting put in make no sense. I had thought Jericho would be fighting him, not Punk, at one point and it still may happen. He wins, and perhaps has a rematch at MitB. But right now it seems like there's no direction.
Tremont said on facebook that it was a previous pancreatic problem he had which was throwing off the blood tests, so he couldn't be cleared to compete before ToD.
Kobashi is supposed to be announcing the results of his test today, but seemed to be downplaying the severity of the situation.
Not so sure about that. A lot of the backstage moves that have happened recently are due to HHH, and I'm fine with that.
Daniel is real, hair is a choice
Here's a few teasers for the factions:
#teammask (yes it includes the hashtag)
and more.
The next GWF video is going to show all the factions. I think I'm doing away with individual reveals since we have a month until GWF 2.0 debuts. I want to introduce each faction.
Currently the GWF story, even though there's very little for 2.0 at the moment, involves Heel forcing Soulplaya to defend his GWF TV Title at the inaugural GWF 2.0 launch on the 4th of July, in America - against the winner of a tournament.
Nobody told Heel that since it is a TV appearance (DPPV actually) he has to defend it anyway so it's not like he has any real power, but he thinks he does.
Will the various factions come in to play for this single-man tournament? Will we see faction members against each other? Word from GWF Management is that each Faction must choose one member to represent their entire faction, so perhaps the seeds of discord are already sown.
Look forward to the Faction Warfare teasers coming online as I make em. I'll try to time them with Raw, and we're going to have a great time. GAF Observer states that the head Booker, Sonny Flowers, has come back to his job with renewed vigor.

Catholicism is the best religion. All the Catholics I know do absolutely whatever they want during the week, then go to confession, rinse, repeat. I wish being Protestant was that awesome. I might not have quit.

Yeah, I still don't think they've developed a good finisher for him. Cena kicks out of both the swinging neckbreaker and Axel's PerfectPlex in what should be when they're putting the guy over, so what now?"Lucky finisher out of nowhere for the win" is pretty good booking in that case. It'd just take Cena or HHH getting KOed by it dead once to put it over huge. You can do the no-contest/countout crap after that, but as long as you protect the finishing move after it doesn't hurt anyone.

WWE World Heavyweight champion has been officially cleared to return to the ring, according to PWInsider.com. Ziggler is scheduled to appear at tonight's SmackDown tapings from Uniondale, Long Island, so it's possible he'll be wrestling on this Friday's broadcast.
The following statement was issued to PWInsider.com this morning:
"Some people have been attempting to distract from what happened on Sunday's iPPV by circulating rumors about an affair, a bitter divorce, or a dispute over the ownership of CHIKARA. All of these rumors are absolutely false."
A previous statement issued to PWInsider.com from CHIKARA's promotional end late last night claimed the promotion was liquidating its merchandise and that it would be selling whatever physical assets (production material, etc.) off.
The idea fronted by the release was that the promotion had been struggling since their Joshimania events did not do well and they had been running in the red since late 2011. The implication was that the "parent company" had pulled the plug - literally, given the end of the show Sunday - on the promotion.
The statement claimed that all agreements with "third party vendors", such as their DVD deal with Smart Mark Video, would be honored through the end of 2013.
The canceled 7/21 date in NYC is now being filled by Kaiju Big Battel. Several of the CHIKARA "Wrestling Is..." sister promotions have already announced other dates that were formerly announced for CHIKARA as well.
As we move further down the rabbit hole, it certainly appears to be a completely massive angle, although what the end game on an angle that shuts down your company and potentially dilutes the brand name by splitting it across seven sister promotions remains to be seen.
Here's a rehash, based on my web searches and looking around r/SC today.
My thesis Chikara is doing one part sci-fi spoof (Time travel), one part universe reboot angle (Wrestling Is), and one part brand/business expansion.
Okay, for those who don't know, here's the very quick and dirty version.
Archibald Peck got the Backfist to the Future in his first match with Eddie Kingston in 2011. This started the time travel angle. Peck went to the future, got a sports almanac and learned all his future match outcomes.
Archie got backfisted again at Chikarasaurus Rex, sending him to the past, where he became the Mysterious and Handsome Stranger. So this spoofs Back to the Future.
Both Archies are walking around in our present timeline. Another BTTF reference. Two copies of one guy in one timeline meeting is bad, very bad, in BTTF logic.
Titor/WMD/Wink/Condor stuff is all conspiracy theory. John Titor was the pseudonym for a guy on the Art Bell forums who claimed to be a time traveler. So Titor Conglomerate owning WMD, which owns Chikara, Lance Steel, the disapparance of Swamp Monster, Archie's time traveling - all that stuff is looped together.
That's the very short version of the time travel angle. Now here's the Crisis of Infinite Chikaras angle that's unfolding:
Two Archies in our timeline, as I pointed out, is bad in BTTF logic. This has the potential to destroy spacetime itself.
Condor may or may not be time cops trying to stop this from occurring.
The end of Anniversario may have been Wink's last attempt at stopping this destruction. Or not. Nobody has said anything, because IRL all Chikara staff and wrestlers signed non-disclosure agreements.
Now let's jump back to Back to the Future II for a second. Remember the alternate 1985? The one where Biff got rich and ruined Hill Valley? Take a look at Chikara right now:
Rudos hold all the titles.
Kingston went from bad guy made good to giant asshole.
Nobody can beat Angelosetti. He keeps winning and winning, and rubbing it in everyone's faces.
The Colony's 2011 KOTR medals were retroactively given to another team.
Beloved tag teams and stables have been split up. (FIST, Colony)
Longtime friends are now enemies. (Quack and Jigsaw, Amasis and Ophidian, FIST, The Colony)
Several wrestlers protest-quit or were mysteriously fired.
Ophidian said, "Kill me!" to Amasis before revealing Amasis' mask underneath his own.
Tim Donst went from asshole to deranged lunatic (Darkest timeline Donst).
Veronica went from perky baton twirler to hopeless loner.
Dark parodies of Chikara favorites appeared from no where. (Gekido)
3.0 lost the belts again.
Marty Jannetty no-showed on Icarus.
Icarus turned face.
Anniversario ended with Condor kicking everyone out, tearing down the set, and Wink canceling all of Chikara's shows.
All of this points to something being seriously, totally wrong in Chikara - not just wrong, but like things literally aren't supposed to be this way. Almost like something was out of place in our timeline...
Now for the universe reboot.
We've entered what Community fans know as "the darkest timeline" for Chikara. Yet Chikara didn't exist in a vacuum. It operates several "Wrestling Is" promotions, each of which contains a letter in Chikara's name (Except there's no K promotion, and Wrestling is Fun). The Wrestle Factory, in storyline, remained a separate entity from Chikara itself.
This means as a company, Chikara is expanding. It has its own, mini-territorial system of satellite promotions.
This also means that while in our storyline, Chikara is defunct, the Wrestling Is promotions are not.
However, this sounds a lot like multiple earths, like in Marvel and DC.
Also, nature abhors a vacuum. Chikara just left a huge vacuum.
Now for the other, unanswered stuff.
Delirious swore 2 years of hell on Ultramantis Black. Yet he hasn't done much since. Why?
The Eye of Tyr was supposedly destroyed - or was it?!
Just who are the Colony: Xtreme Force?
What was in the envelope Derek Sabato gave Mike Quackenbush?
Why did a picture of a groundbreaking set Wink off?
One thing that I totally forgot about and hasnt been covered much is at The Tag World Grand Prix a couple weeks ago, Archie was backfisted by Kingston again. Then, when he was about to do a springboard, he stopped and looked up and was starring at something. Up in the balcony was Another Archibald Peck.
Also, somewhere through the night, Lance Steel was seen in the balcony with a Swamp Monster.
Big post from Reddit (sorry).
Finally!
Saw that last night, I'm convinced it's a big angle but I'm not convinced of the payoff of said angle. It could either turn out to be the biggest thing a wrestling company has done in years or it could backfire and turn their fan base against them.
No wrestling company has ever closed up shop for an angle, not even temporarily. Even WCW co-branded events nWo/WCW when they were doing that takeover angle......the shows still went on. It's an unprecedented risk. Even if they're replacing shows with the "Wrestling Is..." brands, the payoff has to be massive or I can see a lot of damage done to the Chikara brand.
Chikara news:
I'm also puzzled as to what the end game on this angle is. Why shut down your company at the height of it's popularity (not buying that it was in the red at all) and take a risk that could hurt the brand?
I'm especially puzzled by the decision to liquidate merch and other physical assets.

This was posted on the Chikara 101 Message board about an hour ago:
"I cant watch this. He is always getting beat up. " *goes back to kitchen* concerning Cena.
This has been bothering me since last night, does Ryback understand what 'the missing link' actually references? If he did he would surely see the hypocrisy. He might as well have called Bryan a bald meathead, or made fun of his dumb beanie hat.
