Holy shit, that is awesome. I'll keep my eyes open, but you guys are way more on top of this than I am so please let me know if a longer version is released. Also, can you recommend anything else by these guys?

Currently watching Smile, Dong Hae and her character is so annoying. Though I have to admit that there is no shortage of those in Korean dramas.

She's cute though, but gotta drop those bangs. What group is she in?

Finally. I mean, Taeyeon is great and all, but she's still not holy trinity material.

Oh boy...

Maybe if I behave I might be reincarnated as a wall in Sistars dorm in my next life.

Interesting, and Jiyeon and Hyorin are clearly right:

T-ara’s Jiyeon and SISTAR’s Hyorin expressed their interest in creating a new law called, “Special Underage Protection Act.” At the press conference for KBS drama “Dream High 2,” the two lead actresses said, “In the drama, you get to see the ‘Special Underage Protection Act.’ We wish it existed in real life too.”

The law that appears in the drama applies to all underage idol singers. It prohibits underage artists from spending more than 30 hours a week on traveling, rehearsals, concerts, and all promotional activities. Also, they are required to attend school, as underage drop outs are not allowed to engage in any celebrity activity. In addition, all work related to celebrity activities (practice and training included) must be completed before 10PM, and they are required to attend class for more than 20 hours a week.

In fact, a similar law is already in place in Japan where minors are only allowed to work limited hours per week. In “Dream High 2,” this new law is the main reason for Hush and Eden’s transfer to Kirin Arts High School.

Jiyeon, currently a high school student, expressed her desire to spend some more time at school. “I did think about spending more time at school with friends, going to classes and having my own personal time as well. Promotional activities are good but I think some rest would be good, too,” the 18-year old artist said.

“Once you start promotional activities, your sleeping hours get really irregular and it’s hard to manage maintain a healthy lifestyle. Because of the busy schedule, we have much less time to practice singing, compared to our trainee days,” SISTAR’s Hyorin added.

2AM’s Jinwoon, however, thought differently. He argued, “If the ‘special law’ does get enacted, we’ll inevitably have less freedom to promote. There are more lessons to be learned than you think from celebrity activities. I also debuted as a minor, but if you really want to, it’s very possible to simultaneously engage in activities while going to school.”

Jiyeon will play the role of Rian, an aspiring actress that lacks acting skills. Hyorin plays Nana, a lead vocalist with strong personality. Jinwoon’s role is Jung Yoo Jin, a knucklehead student that dreams of making it big as a rock star. The first episode of “Dream High 2” will air on January 30.

With more and more idol singers facing serious health issues, more people are voicing concerns over their hectic schedules. Do you think there needs to be a “Special Underage Protection Law” in place? Or is it not necessary to regulate their working hours?

So I finished listening to Clazzi - Infant, and it is fantastic. My bias toward electronic music says that this is basically going to be kpop album of 2012 for me already, barring some miracle. Like if he does a Clazziquai album. It's really quite good. I'm going to have to give it another listen to pick out my favorite tracks, but I am very impressed.

Oh, did they practice and figure out how to be good all together again? They kind of forgot how to do that after branching out into separate projects...

Guys I gotta say I really like Boyfriend:

I didn't really pay attention to them before but they caught my attention with this. The song kicks ass and they actually know how to sing (no surprise from Sistar's agency) and from what interviews I've seen they seem a more humble than some other guy groups. As it is, I'd describe them as like Infinite except more than two of them can sing.

Male rookies of the year so far, though we have some big debuts coming up soon.

THat song is pretty decent. Always nice to have a boyband where the guys aren't angry and deadly serious. I've liked several Teen Top singles but I'm not sure how much I can stand following them with that asshat Cap and his recent horrible comments, even if he apologized.

When asked for a status update she replied, “The proceeds for the calendar made around 100 million won (roughly $86,300 USD). A lot of people joined in to support a good cause so I’m really happy”.

Meanwhile, this episode of ‘Entertainment Weekly’ also had netizens stirring as Lee Hyori was quoted saying, “If all the Fin.K.L members were able to reunite, I think that we would come out with something great”.

Huh, I thought the single was digital download only.

The Best Buy near me had the US release of The Boys album today. Even if it was just 1 copy. Didn't grab it since I already have the Korean release but it was nice to see it on shelves, at least. Even had their own "Girls' Generation" white placard thing for organization. Hittin' the big time!
